Something different!
We have never had millet grain like this before but love rice and couscous and other grains so thought it woukd be fun to try! The package was a bit different than the listing but had clear instructions and details. I decided not to follow the instructions on the package since they have a 2-3hr soaking period - who has time for that? I found a faster cook version online and it seemed to cook it nicely and kiddos liked it mixed with some Parmesan and salt and pepper. It really is a bland taste that you can dress up however you want and mix with whatever you want. At some point I’ll have to try that several hour soaking and compare with the quick method, but seems there are good options if you don’t want to wait forever. The grain is very small and the cooking style will determine the texture. We enjoyed it and will eat it, not sure I would buy it again tho.

Rancid, strong chemical smell
Very disappointed. The millet I received was clearly rancid and completely unusable. When I opened the package, it had a strong gasoline-like chemical smell, which is extremely concerning for a food product. This is not a normal grain odor — it smelled spoiled and unsafe to consume. Additionally, the product is marketed as organic, yet there is no organic certification or labeling on the package, which raises further concerns about quality and transparency. I had to discard the product immediately. Based on freshness, odor, and unclear labeling, I would not recommend this product.
