The only reason I didn't give 4 stars is because the "hole" that goes over your own hair is so large. My own hair is past my shoulders and pretty thick, but even so the scrunchie was way too big to just pop over my own bun and stay there. I tried twisting it as other people are doing, but as it is such lovely real hair, I really didn't want to spoil it. But I did twist it, and then it fitted securely, but didn't look so perfect. It just looked "too" messy. So I tried a few things, ways of increasing the width of my own topknot, tried several things. The best one was putting a black velvet scrunchie over my own bun( a smallish, tight fitting one), then I just popped the hair bun on top of that and it felt great. Very secure. I could use a black one as my own hair and the hair scrunchie are both very dark. In fact I had chosen one shade too light, #4 ....it looked near enough to wear and I don't think anyone would have questioned it at all, but being a bit of a perfectionist, I have ordered another darker one, #2....arriving tomorrow. These real hair buns arrive beautifully packaged in hairnet, plastic sealed bag and very nice box. As for size, it's plenty to give a nice size wavy/curvy beautiful bun, but if you want a big bun, this isn't it. To research these hair scrunchies properly, I also ordered 2 more different fake hair buns. Which I will also review elsewhere. Ive had a quick look at them, not tried on yet but have to say they look good. Even though not real hair. *** update on this. I have now received the slightly darker shade #2 and it is absolutely a perfect match. Im thrilled with it. Furthermore, this one had a centre "hole" that was smaller and fitted snugly over my own bun. So I have upgraded this to 5 stars. The same people Barsdar do an excellent synthetic messy bun. Ive bought that too. Colour and fit are perfect. Its just a tiny bit heavier to wear, but looks great. I have left a full review for that one, plus 2 photos.

Great quality and looks great but just be careful of getting it wet!

It's a good size and looks natural if a little dry. I bough the burgundy as my hair is dyed red. It wasn't a good match to I dyed it using my usual dye. After giving it a condition it is now soft, shiny and exactly the right match for my hair. This is whats great about it being 100% real hair. Only problem I had was that it's a bit big and can slip off easily, since I have a short,thin pony tail. However, I got round that issue by attaching a small claw grip after I've tied three times. This works well to hold it place more securely than pins.

I have a good few of these but this one is the finest one I’ve had it is not worth the money I didn’t even wear it I binned it terrible quality

Lovely soft, real, human hair but the same old uniform fake-looking old fashioned bun they’ve been churning out for decades. I need a piece that looks like my own mad, irregular, messy curls!!!

A high quality human hair messy bun that looks indistinguishable from my own hair. Gets me out of the awkward growing out stage of short to long hair. The colour is spot on! I couldn’t be happier. Thank you!!

Nice quality but sadly had to return the product as it was the wrong colour. I asked for black but the one that arrived was more like brown/black. Odd because they didn’t sell that colour when I ordered at the time. This was disappointing as the price paid was not cheap.

The scrunchie is easy to use. Perfect colour match to my hair. Soft and brushes out to perfect shape after use. Doesn’t pull or drag . Not one person has asked if it’s my hair ( or not! )- the best compliment as no one has noticed ! I wear mine in a low bun after losing 3/4 hair thickness through medication and zinc deficiency . This has been such a boost to my confidence . It truly just looks as though it’s my hair . I’ve tried another brand of real hair Scrunchie - it was not good. Matted and tatted. I recommend this one tho honestly and I’ll be using them whilst my hair is growing ( and seemingly recovering now ) due to changed meds and supplements
