I’ve had this for about a year and never left a review, but honestly, this thing is so good I had to come back to do so.Pros: Very loud, very clear. Incredibly durable (have dropped multiple times from multiple heights, and my chew-happy dog has been at it as well), feels sturdy and well-built. Battery life is pretty great. I don’t know what it is in terms of hours, but I use it almost every night to listen to podcasts to sleep, or in the background while gaming. I usually listen a couple hours, go to bed while listening, and it still is going strong when I wake up (though it’s usually getting pretty low by then). And this is after nearly daily use over the course of a year, so battery life hasn’t dropped much from what I can tell. I’ve had it in the shower, I’ve had it by the pool, I’ve had it in the rain - so it’s reliably splash resistant.I’ve never had a problem connecting to the Bluetooth, and the range is good - very good actually - I’ve gotten pretty dang far and haven’t unintentionally disconnected yet.I have several portable speakers, some smaller and lighter and more portable, and some wired speakers in my bedroom and living room, and yet I come back to this bad boy 95% of the time. Perfect mix of portability, battery life, and sound quality.You cannot beat the quality, for that price?? Almost unbelievable. But believe it, it’s seriously that great.Cons: the stupid lights on the side are kinda obnoxious, and I haven’t found a way to either change the colors (make it solid instead of cycling), dim them, or turn them off. Just these color-cycling, fade-in and -out lights on the inner ring of both side speakers. Not enough to lose a star, but my god, it’s the one thing I wish I could change.

I must have bought over 10 portable speakers on Amazon alone in the last 10 years. Most of them I would not recommend to my enemies.I decided to buy this brand after a golf weekend where we could play music in our cart and my JBL would not connect. So I bought it and connected it and waited for my next trip and used it around my house sporadically and thought it was pretty good for the price. But when I took it out on the golf course and really got to use it the way I intended, my God it was awesome. Not only did it connect perfectly, others were able to connect to it seamlessly over the 3 days. And the sound, OMG the sound was like listening to my old stereo from the 80’s (which was fitting cause that’s mostly the genre of music I played ). Literally perfect clarity and very loud. My old speakers would never reach what I would call max volume, this guy not only got to max level … it might have hit 11! And it sounded stereo perfect. And I only charged it after my round, and it easily got me through 4 1/2 hours so battery again @ 10I think it only cost ,me $25 or so and it was worth every penny. I am currently using it at home as a plug in speaker for my tv and that works prefect as well. Again. 10/10 or a Spinal Tap 11/10. Would easily buy again … pretty sure I will be as I love to have backups of things that work well in case they get discontinued.

Glad I spent the $20 on this speaker. It has good weight to it, so it is not cheaply made. The rubberized flap that covers the charging port is nice and thick and fits very snuggly. It sounds good. It’s not a bass monster but has a decent low end. I got it to listen to music and videos on my phone, as the sound quality and volume from the phone is not good. I got it 1 day ago and was listening to music for a few hours and really happy with the sound. This speaker can get really loud. Then I got the bright idea to bluetooth it to my tv. I always have to turn my tv up really loud to hear it from my bed. Now I have the audio really close. Don’t have to turn it up so loud and the sound quality is so much better than the tv. I can actually watch without subtitles! The speaker came fully charged and I have been using it for hours and still haven’t had to charge it. It’s pretty cool that it has multiple glow light settings too. All in all, so far, it has been a great purchase. The charger is standard usb and you will need a block to plug it in to, so make sure you have one of those.
