This RC monster truck is fantastic! It’s fast, durable, and handles all kinds of terrain with no problem — grass, dirt, even puddles. My kids love how it can go on land and water, and the waterproof design really works. The battery lasts a good amount of time, and it’s super easy to control. I don't usually write reviews but my 9 and 7 year old boys have literally had more fun with this toy than any other toy they have ever owned. It goes pretty fast (almost as fast as my 7 year old can run) and can go forward, backward, or spin while stopped to change direction. Pretty simple but we've had it for months and it still provides tons of fun. A few caveats: the rechargeable battery only lasts 25-30min before you have to recharge (but that is just about the right amount of time to play with it). Since it's fast, it's best for outdoor use and best for a paved surface such as an alley or paved area in a park -- it is rugged enough to go on grass (or snow) but may overturn frequently if the surface is not smooth. Other than that, it's a winner!

Bought this for my six year old grandson visiting from LA for a week. I don’t believe he ever operated an RC car before. No problem learning and using the pistol grip remote control. Car handled sidewalks driveways grass and a 20% grade gravel path in my backyard without any issues. One speed—fast! 7.4 volt battery has long life. I didn’t put a stop watch to it but maybe 30 minutes.Dropped him at the airport this morning. May have to recharge the batteries and take it for a spin myself.Highly recommend.

I bought this for my son's birthday, he loves it. Very good functionality. My only issue is opening it up to charge the battery but otherwise very great product.

Great truck but not "big boy proof". It definitely was an all terrain vehicle. Yes, it's waterproof. The wheels did not have good traction but it was entertaining. At some point, 1/2 of the vehicle stopped working. I think my son was too hard with it. Nice while it lasted.

This truck has lived up to it's claims. It really does do great in water and it has been very solid, unaffected by falls down stairs and slides. The extra battery is appreciated too although you can buy some with even higher capacity. Some options the slightly more expensive ones have are two+ speeds (this is just off and fast) and a way to fine tune the steering. Also, we can't get it to do the wheelie but it does the spin around.
