I installed two yolink water control valves in two properties plus two hubs and 13 water leak sensors spread across both properties. I have had them in for about one month now. No detected leaks, so no emergency test. I tested each system heavily as I was setting it up for installation however. Everything worked as I hoped it would.I selected this Yolink system because of its ability to function if wifi is down and if there is a power failure while also being able to be controlled through Internet connection to my phone under normal circumstances.I would say that this system for water detection and shut off, which is all that I have used, is very well thought out and the programming of it, while not super simple is straightforward. It is an impressive design. I did not need to consult tech support so cannot comment on that. I did have a professional plumber install the shut off valve onto the pipe, but that was just my choice. Thus far I have only good things to say about this very good design and the products as I've used them thus far.

I had to purchase additional sensors, but this system works great. I put sensors anywhere I might get a leak. Under the sinks, next to the toilets, under the shower s piping, by the hot water heater, Washer, any area you might a leak. They sense a small amount of water, and shut off the water supply. It already picked up a small leak under my kitchen sink, shut off the water, and notified me what sensor activated. Battery life in the sensors is great too. I've had this for over a year, and battery life is still full.Don't wait till it's too late.

Great product, easy to install, and setup.Installed on my main water supply to my home.I also purchased a hub and a number of leak detection units, placing them in the geyser tray, under washing machines and sinks.Makes travelling away from home less of a worry.Automated schedules shut off my water supply to the home and open it on occasions to water plants.If a leak is detected it will shut off the water supply before any major damage or water usage can occur.Batteries are easy to replace and the app is user friendly.

This unit has a far cheaper price than other products that do the same thing. Set up was easy and I had it installed by a plumber just to be safe, but probably could have done it myself. We bought extra sensors for different parts of the house and they connected quickly and seamlessly. What I really like is even if the power goes out and no internet, the sensors still connect to the valve and it can close or open like normal. You get push notifications too for any water detected, where and that the valve closed.

This is a wonderful system. It notified me of a leak before I even had the system completely installed.After the system arrived my plumber wasn’t able to install the valve for about two weeks. In the meantime, I figured I would set the sensors out and set up the app on my phone. Well, a day later, the pressure valve on my water heater decided to start leaking in the middle of my shower. Luckily my phone started sounding the alarm that there was a water leak. Sure enough there was about a half gallon of water on the floor in the basement when I investigated.I was able to easily fix the pressure valve and no damage was done. Thanks to the system.I am very impressed with the quality of this equipment. YoLink’s quality is on par with much more expensive systems.I should also mention that the YoLink customer service is outstanding. I’ve called a few times with questions, and each time I was helped by a very knowledgeable representative. Well done Yolink!

After our home flooded while on vacation from a faulty ice maker filter, I installed this unit and can't say enough about how well it works. It's not only protecting our home from another flood but gives us peace of mind. I installed this myself on the main water line using Shark Bite fittings and it works like a dream. Since installing, we've had a few "trials" to prove how well it works. One was my wife spraying pest control and the other was a few drips from our kitchen sink after the Contractor installed new kitchen plumbing,In both cases, it turned off our main valve and alerted us by text and email messages.It also allows you to turn off the main valve if you're DIY your own plumbing work. This allowed me to observe my work while turning on the water (rather then turning it on down by the street and running back to the house to insure nothing is leaking).Highly recommended!!!

Great system at a reasonable price. Under $300 for the entire system of sensors and valve now protects my home with confidence. Backup redundancy leaves is confident that water damage will be mitigated even if the internet or power is down. Easy to install and good app. Protected all sinks, toilets, washing machine, refrigerators, dishwasher, and sump pump with appropriate sensors for a value that competitors were unable to meet at a larger cost with less benefits. (Note: a simple leaking refrigeration icemaker line resulted in over $2000 in damage in the past)
