This is an amazing brush! I honestly felt very self conscious with my hair prior to getting this. Since I've started using it my hair has been noticeably healthier and less oily in appearance. The bristles are sturdy, easy to clean and maintain, and they don't catch or tangle in my hair. It goes through smoothly with damp or dry hair, haven't tried it when my hair is completely wet yet. The wood is sturdy, has a nice texture and feels nice to grip and hold in my hand for extended amounts of time. It will fit into most toiletry bags but is still a nice size. The money spent on it is well worth every single cent! It even came with a very sweet letter from one of the founders! The packaging is tasteful, elegant, and heartfelt. Definitely a 100/10. Would HIGHLY recommend to just about anyone.

I purchased these as birthday gifts for my daughters and they love these brushes! Both said it makes their hair shiny and smooth!

I like this brush, as it works well on my long, thick, but mostly straight hair. The bamboo handle & brush head seem durable.It is very difficult to clean. For that reason alone, I reduced the rating to four stars.There is a lot of hair, dust, & other impurities stuck near the cushion that holds the bristles. These are coming out of my hair, so this brush cleans the hair well.

I’ve tried boar bristle brushes before and could never figure out how people even used them as all they did was slide right off my hair. I couldn’t get the bristles to engage at all. However, I discovered that this brush, with its mix of boar and nylon bristles, actually engages with my hair—and thoroughly. I love the way it feels. It’s luxurious. I can tell every strand is getting attention. I immediately tossed my cheap plastic brushes, which I’d had for decades, in the recycling bin and ordered another one of these just to make sure I have a backup. I can’t believe the difference. It must be the boar and nylon mix that does the trick. The nylon bristles are longer and I think help grip the hair so the boar bristles can then move through the hair. Whatever the mechanics of it, it’s the best. I’m a convert.
