I was honestly skeptical at first, but this iron powder is truly tasteless. I tested it myself, and I could not detect anything different in the food. I used it with my 15-month-old by mixing one scoop into about a teaspoon of ketchup on her burger. She loves ketchup, and she ate it without hesitation – no fuss at all. It looked a little red, but the flavor was exactly the same.What makes this product even better is how concentrated it is. One scoop is 213% of the daily requirement, so even if your baby doesn’t eat the full portion, they’re still getting a significant amount of iron. That peace of mind is priceless.So far, ketchup has been a perfect match since it masks any potential texture or color differences, but I imagine it would work fine in other foods too, even something plain like oatmeal. This has made supplementing iron simple and stress-free for both me and my daughter. Highly recommend!

My 4 yo has been taking this for low ferritin level. I usually put it in 2oz of water and 2oz of apple juice for a little bit of vitamin c. She has never complained of the taste and drinks it right down.

This iron is truly amazing. There's nothing like it on the market, and I have searched far and wide for an iron product to give to my son with autism spectrum disorder. Due to his restricted diet and ability to perceive even the slightest of flavors, he needs extra iron, but we've had trouble with this strong metallic flavor of typical iron supplements.I was worried he would be able to perceive this iron, but he happily ate it mixed with peanut butter with absolutely no detection of any flavor. I tasted the peanut butter and it had no flavor, and I even tasted the product straight. Only when you taste it straight do you pick up on a very mild flavor, but nothing overwhelming.Also, you only need a very tiny dose. The 80mg scooper is minuscule and delivers 15 mg of iron. My son's nutritionist only recommends he get 5-7mg of added iron at age 3. So this little bottle will last us a long time. When he's 4, his dose of iron will increase. Adults with iron deficiency could take this product without the gross metallic flavor.Personally, I started with a smaller dose than what he needed and spread it over two meals. I also wanted him to absorb the maximum amount of iron, so I give it with a little vitamin C (Synergy brand Radiance C powder) and away from the peanut butter that I mix with NOW brand calcium citrate powder), as calcium inhibits iron absorption. *UPDATE: do not mix the iron and vitamin C ahead of time as the flavor will change/oxidize the iron over the course of a few days.I try to get as many supplements into his food as possible without changing the flavor. Peanut butter is great at disguising flavors. I also put in the age appropriate doses of liquid vitamin A from Klaire Labs, Pure Encapsulations genomic B complex, Holistic Bin A-GPC for choline, vitamins D and K drops, and Pure Encapsulations 360 mineral complex to cover all the needs of a multivitamin. I've tailored the dose to his daily recommended amounts, plus or minus a bit.I hope this product never goes away. What's better is they are a small, family owned company and if you go on their website and read why this product was created, you'll understand more that they are also concerned parents too. They're on to something genius. I hope they come up with a tasteless omega 3 product.

My baby doesn't notice it and has greatly improved his iron levels, the Doctor told us to keep using whatever we were using 👌🏼

This is the best iron supplement we have tried! My very picky child has tried numerous iron gummies and liquids but this powder has been a life saver. If put in juice or food it’s tasteless so she doesn’t even know when I give it to her. It does change the color of water or anything light colored so pudding or juice are my picks for mixing. If you’re having trouble getting your little one to take iron supplements you should really give this a try!

First couple days, we love this for an elderly adult body because it has only one ingredient, is flavorless or very slightly sweet, nice rusty color, very fine, soft powder, easy to measure and divide the dose, and is easy on the stomach (but might be a bit constipating, but seems like most iron can be). Expiration date was more than a year out. We thought our first try arrived without the scoop, but it WAS in the box, just so small, flat, and white like the box, that we didnt notice it (with poor vision), even after tearing and folding the box for recycling. When we asked the seller about the missing scoop (before we found it), he was GREAT — replied fast, explained a packaging machine error that happened sometimes, offered a fast, free replacement (through amazon) that DID include the scoop (red and easy to see this time), and even let us know that kitchen measuring spoons would be inaccurate and almost impossible to use because the full dose is only 1/32 teaspoon. Thank you, seller. We will let the seller know that bright colors help with such a tiny scoop, and we will chat with amazon customer service and see if they will re-charge us for the first bottle.

We tried 4 other iron supplements and my son couldn’t keep them down. His Stanford dr recommended this one and he has been able to keep it down and get his iron levels to be stable and stop dropping
