In May I purchased these beads and have been wearing them pretty consistently. Recently one broke, but only because I accidentally put it in the washer 🤣😭. I will add that the shells have come off, but other than that they are pretty durable.

Pros: They look very cute and are a good deal price-wise considering you get 12 sets. Cons: They are not true waist beads (which are strung on a cotton cord and tied) - these are strung on a very thin stretchy plastic cord and I don't anticipate it holding up for long at all. I'll keep them and take them on my upcoming beach vacation and we'll see how they hold up. For reference, my waist is 32" and they sit a little low/loose. I might cut the cord and remove an inch or two and retie it so that it will sit more mid-waist. They are definitely not long enough to double up a single set but you can layer them by wearing multiple sets if you want a multi-bead, layered look. All in all, not bad at all but I won't reorder them again because I don't think the stretchy cord will last very long.
