Witchcraft!
These were recommended as being helpful to nip a cold in the bud before it really takes hold. Difficult to know if it was the zinc, the copious amounts of vitamin c, or the gallons of water I drank, but something worked as the cold only lasted 2 days!

Great for colds.
Great for reducing suffering times of colds. Suck every few hours when symptoms first start. Works fab.

Not a pleasant taste but they seem to work
Not a pleasant taste but they seem to work when used at the first sign of a cold or sore throat. So far so good.

High quality zinc lozenge
I often find zinc lozenges make me feel nauseous. Even though this one may taste a tad chalky - which I do not mind at all - it has a pleasant mint taste, always helps my throat feel better and contains a high amount of zinc. I never get nauseous after-effects from letting one dissolve in my mouth. i believe it is value for money. A+

The best zinc supplement on amazon for fighting the common cold
There's good evidence that zinc significantly reduces symptoms and duration of the common cold, but only if certain criteria are met: 1) Must be lozenges, so the virusses in the throat area can be targeted effectively 3) Must contain a high dose, so that 75mg+ of zinc per day are taken 2) The zinc must be in a certain form, either gluconate, or better, zinc acetate. Other compounds dont work! 4) Compounds that bind zinc ions must not be present. This supplement is the *only* one I found on amazon that fulfills these criteria (except criterion 4, which I can't judge due to lack of chemistry knowledge). It even has zinc acetate, which is better than gluconate. I also like that the manufacturer seems to be aware of the research, judging by the text and instructions on the package. This might seem like something to be expected, but looking at other supplements (even lozenges), it is not common. TASTE: surprisingly good, I expected it to taste bad. This product seems a bit expensive for what it offers, but it's definitely worth it, and as long as there's no good alternative, I'm giving it 5 stars.

Poor quality ingredients.
I threw these away as they are full of bulking agents. Better to drink peppermint tea for sore throats, garlic, or oregano.
