Fun 2 Player Game
Great game with excellent art and good game mechanics. Played with my 11 year old son and with my adult friend (separate games). It was easy to understand and fun. If you're into Star Wars, it's nostalgic for sure.

Great two player deck builder with a twist
If you're a fan of deck builders, this one is worth a look. It's a fast moving two player deck builder with the original trilogy theme, and the theme does come through. The hook though is that you attack the other player OR attack/remove cards that they may want to buy. You also get a bonus for removing cards and sometimes that's a good reason to do it.I'll also add that the word "attack" should be taken lightly. This isn't a "take that" type of game where you hurt your opponent's turn. You're both chipping away at each other's bases and potential cards to buy. Sometimes your attack can help them too as they'll get out a new base with a special power, or perhaps a card flip to something better that they may end up buying.Fun game. Not complicated. Small box. Good twists. A keeper.

Very fun and fairly easy to learn
If you've played deck building games before, this game will be fairly easy for you to learn. It plays a lot like any deck building game but with a few added features. It's also really fun having the Star Wars theme. I finally got a chance to play four or five games with a friend of mine and we had a ton of fun playing it and can't wait to play it some more. Our games were kind of short, only lasting 15 to 25 minutes but we can easily make the game last longer which I think will be more fun. There's plenty of replay value as well, and once we learn the rules it was really easy to set up and start playing almost right away. The quality of the materials used is just fine. Nothing seems flimsy or cheap, and is basically what you would expect from a good quality board game.

Phenomenal
Extremely fun, it's very fast paced once you get the flow of it. You play your whole hand almost like poker, hoping to make the best play with whatever 5 cards you were dealt. The shop is a very fun element and I hope they're able to work in a handful of additional mechanics to spice up the gameplay. It's very fun but can get stale after a few games (for the time being) just because many of the effects are, overall, bland. It feels like an updated version of the living card game, which they reuse a fair amount of art from. That's fine by me, it's 7 years old. But I know many hardcore fans dislike that because they play so much.I'm by no means hardcore, however I am a huge fan of this and this is one of the few card games I'll be one of the first people to buy the expansions to. This is a blast with friends or even solo (check out tabletop simulator if you play solo frequently). I hope to see at least 4 more expansions after the clone wars.

Solo Gameplay is Fun Too!
This is my first deck building game and it's absolutely fantastic and easy to learn thanks to numerous YouTue tutorials.I actually picked this up due to the fan made solo mode ("Leaders: A Star Wars Deckbuilding Game Solitaire Variant"). It allows you to play against the board which allows a sequence of decisions to be made against you and is actually quite difficult!Great card art work, cards are thick, the box is great quality and I can see this being a game I'll play for years due to its ease of set up, ability to play solo or head to head and quality design! One recommendation: use die to track damage on planets and ships and/or track supplies. Easier than using the numerous supply pieces.

A lot of deckbuilder ideas in a solid game.
This deck builder has a lot of similarities with games like Star Realms/Hero Realms in it's game play. Deck builder games are a dime a dozen right now, but it's because they are easy to play and mostly pretty quick. Quick this game is not, but challenging and fun it is.Standard deck builders start with a small deck of cheap resource cards and a couple attackers. From there as the game goes on, those resources buy better cards. Finding combinations of cards that work well together will help you succeed in the game. One player is the Rebel alliance(Red cards) and the other is the Empire(Blue cards). But, there is also a Neutral faction of cards(gray) that can be recruited and a set of planets to choose from as their strongholds. You recruit the personalities and ships in the big deck to attack your opponents bases, ships, and in this game you also can attack cards in the "Galaxy Row", the cards available to both players to recruit from. The capital ships in the big deck act as buffers/fortresses to attacking your opponent. You must take those ships out before you can attack the planet. The object of the game is to destroy three of your opponents planets/bases to win. There is also a tracker for the force that goes back and forth, giving the player with "the force on their side" advantages on some cards. This is a fun deck builder game in a sea of games with the same basic mechanics. Although it will not blow you away with any innovation, it adds enough twists of the genre to be enjoyable. The 30 min play time I cannot agree with, our games were much longer. Time might decrease a bit as we become more accustomed to the game, but the battle back and forth between experienced players will draw out the games a lot.

Great game!
Anyone familiar with other deck building card games or collectable card games will have no problem understanding the rules and flow of this game. The age says 14, but my 9yr old comprehends it completely and can play comparatively. The gameplay is faster and more actions in a turn than something like Star Wars: Destiny CCG. Very similar to Hogwarts Battle Deck building game except not cooperative and SW has more event driven actions that you have to keep track of.If you are a Star Wars fan and enjoy deck building games, this will be a hit.
