I was looking for some throat lozenges that were safe for the whole family for this upcoming cold season. I chose these Quantum Health Therazinc hoping they would be soothing as they claim, and I think they are good quality overall. I like that these are individually wrapped. This makes them great for on the go or to toss in your bag or pocket. This also keeps them fresh longer which I appreciate. The flavor of these is very fruity and sweet. To me they taste like a piece of raspberry candy and have no medicinal flavor at all. They are very pleasant in terms of flavor, and everyone in my family enjoyed them. They don't leave any unpleasant aftertaste either. I don't love the texture of these though. I find them to be a bit dry and hard, almost as if they aren't super fresh. This is most apparently when you first put them in your mouth, but gets better as they start to dissolve some. They dissolve very quickly as well, taking only a couple of minutes. I love that these are made with simple, natural ingredients. Many lozenges have artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives, so I appreciate the high quality ingredients in these. I also love that they are organic. I do think that these are effective as far as soothing your throat and work as well as other natural type lozenges I've tried. I like that these have zinc and elderberry as well and I find them easier and more pleasant than a pill or capsule form. I've had no ill effects from them and find them pleasant to take. I think they are a decent value for the money based on the quantity received (25 lozenges) and the quality of the ingredients.

During cold and flu season, I like taking a zinc lozenge if I feel something coming on. These are individually wrapped, which makes them super convenient for travel or keeping in my purse. The taste is pretty good - not too medicinal, slightly sweet. The only downside is the texture, which leaves a bit of grittiness afterward. I suppose you could swallow to avoid that, but it defeats the purpose of a lozenge.

Best way for me to get my needed zinc because zinc tablets and capsules either give me stomach aches or constipate me. Very soothing for sore throats. No garbage additives.

I really wanted to like these TheraZinc lozenges. As someone who leans toward natural remedies, I was drawn to the zinc gluconate and elderberry, two ingredients I appreciate as healthy alternatives to traditional medicine. Unfortunately, the texture was a big drawback. The lozenges have sharp, rough bits across the surface that ended up cutting the roof of my mouth. They also left behind tiny, hard pieces that felt like plastic. I found myself picking those out of my mouth for 15 minutes after the lozenge was removed. The flavor is okay; bland, with a mildly fruity taste, but not unpleasant. I couldn’t finish a full lozenge and ended up throwing it away. My husband tried one as well and experienced the same roughness. He kept his lozenge near his cheek, which helped avoid irritation, but he also noted the sharp texture. He also commented on an aftertaste that he didn't care for. I’m still impressed with the ingredient list and that each lozenge is individually wrapped, but the overall experience was disappointing. For that reason, I’m giving this 3 stars for flavor, formulation, and intent, but the texture and odd crumbling bits are hard to overlook.

I love these drops.They help with a dry throat,and taste really good.This is my favorite.Has zinc and is organic.
