All you need to do to get the effect above is ; 1) Make sure your roof is completely clean and dry beforehand. 2) Apply the product neat with a decent unused paint brush. You will notice discolouration and you saturate the roof with it along with a strong solvent smell ( so don’t do in enclosed areas such as garages) but the discolouration goes after an hour or so and the smell will go after a few days once the solvent has evaporated. 3) admire as dust can now be brushed off with a microfibre cloth and the water beading is long lasting, should last at least 12 months

We use this regularly on our convertible. It's cheap, quick and easy to apply and works better than some of the more specific products designed for soft top cars. Once applied you get a lovely beading of water on the roof, that simply blows off as you drive. Just re-apply every few months, and it works a treat.

I use Fabsil Gold every year on my soft top sports car roof. This aerosol is easier and quicker to apply than the painted on option. Both work well, to maintain rain beading and waterproofing qualities, while keeping the roof looking clean and black, for a whole year.

Bought this to help re-proof my motorbike cover wich is 15 months old and loosing its proofing. Easy to use but empty after two passes of the cover. Instructions are very small and hard to read. Time will tell if it works and if so i will buy again. UPDATE. Well i did have to wait for the rain, it poured dow hours after sparying my bike cover, and even from my window i saw the results. The rain just beaded off and afterwards the cover was dry. Im impressed and have just ordered another tin.

This works really well. I got two cans for my coat. Haven’t been wet since!
