Best thing ever.
This stuff is amazing. I have a hallway that was targeted by both my cats and dogs. I tried everything to get rid of the smell. Spent an absolute fortune. I saw this, although I did think it pricey, I thought why not. Best decision ever made. I put it in a spray bottle and sprayed it neat on the floor. Saturated it. Left it sit for a bit then blotted it with a damp mop. Sprayed it again for good measure and just left it this time. I'm absolutely delighted to say that the foosty, dirty, peepee smell is gone. I no longer want to gag and cry simultaneously anymore. Beyond happy.

I’ve been using the 128‑oz Biokleen Bac‑Out Enzyme Stain & Odor Remover for a few months now, and here’s my take from real-life use: ⸻ ✅ What I Love • Effective on tough stains and odors It tackled old pet stains on my carpet and even wine drips on my couch. After letting it sit, the spots and smells disappeared without me having to scrub madly . • Safe and eco-friendly No harsh chemicals—plant-based, biodegradable formula with live enzymes. It’s certified by Green Seal for safer cleaning . Great for a pet-filled and kid-friendly home. • Fresh, subtle scent The lavender-lime scent is mild and pleasant—no chemical bleach smell. Even better: it disappears quickly, leaving things smelling neutral . • Multipurpose cleaning I’ve used it inside my washing machine for sweaty gym clothes, on carpet spills, upchuck from my cat, and even diaper stains. It’s tackled them all successfully . ⸻ ⚠️ What to Know Before You Buy • Use enough and let it work You need to saturate the stain and let the enzymes dwell for at least 10 minutes—longer for deeper-set messes. Wiping it too soon cuts effectiveness . • Big jug, big space The 128-oz bottle is a bit bulky, so I ended up transferring some into a smaller spray bottle for spot cleaning convenience . • Some shipping issues A few buyers mentioned leaks during delivery. Mine arrived okay, but worth knowing if your bottle comes via mail . ⸻ 🧭 Final Verdict If you’re dealing with organic stains—like pet mess, food, wine, or workout clothes—and want a safer, eco-friendly option, this formulation really delivers. Just use it as directed (saturate and wait), and be aware of the bottle’s size. In short: powerful, plant-based enzyme cleaner that works across multiple mess types—just give it a bit of space to work, and maybe prep a spray bottle for ease of use.

TLDR: Buy this. It's magical. And it smells wonderful (limey). See pics -- total time (stain to clean: 2 LITERAL minutes!) BIOKLEEN (Magical Witchcraft Potion): I've used this product for years (multiple critters in the home), never writing a review before this. Recently, Thing One decided to start throwing up his food and I learned that food turn a bilious bright yellow when it comes back up. All my light colored carpets are where he prefers to throw up (not the hardwood floors). Thing Two is experiencing some kind of gastrointestinal disturbance and is leaving little piles of love outside the litter, again, on the light colored surfaces. Enter Magical Potion (BIOKLEEN). This will seem like an exaggeration -- all I can say is try it for yourself. LITERALLY, I sweep/vacuum up whatever has dried and can be removed. Then, I wet the stain with BIOKLEEN. The first time I got busy with laundry and forgot to return to scrub after spraying, and guess what? IT WAS GONE. The stain was LITERALLY GONE -- no scrubbing, no panting, no cursing, no hoping. This stuff literally ate it up! I was astonished and it was too late to take a pic. So this time, I've shared the TWO MINUTE process in pictures. From stain to gone (one minute 56 seconds). I did use that siliconey scrubbie looking thing, but it wasn't necessary. Magical. One Caveat: I got overexcited one time and poured the liquid from the jug (instead of spraying). I would not advise this on carpets. It worked spectacularly to remove the stain (again, no scrubbing) BUT, I think it became OVER-SOAKED and when it dried, the carpet (a large 10x12 ft) was ever so slightly bumpy in the surrounding area, as though some fibers stretched out or shrunk during/after the soaking. Sort of like when you get sisal or jute wet and then it never lays flat again). So -- long/short: Buy it, use it, SPRAY it (don't jug-it), and love it. :-)

This is it. This saved my girlfriend’s mildew ridden car. To prove this isn’t a fake review, I will disclose I wet my bed every night except I don’t, not really. Long story short, we bought a car with an insane mildew smell that I assumed ozone or chlorine dioxide would fix. Neither worked. I ended up tearing the car apart—literally. I removed padding, cleared all trapped water, then ran ozone and chlorine dioxide again. It still smelled. The mildew had sat so long it coated everything—under the dash, deep crevices, places you can’t reach without full disassembly. The carpet itself was soaked, including the rubber backing, which had been in contact with moisture the longest. I genuinely thought it was unsalvageable and started shopping for replacement carpet. Local options were nonexistent, and junkyard carpets were in bad shape. As a last attempt, I sprayed this product on the interior, soaked the rubber backing, then shampooed the carpet with dawn detergent after letting it sit overnight. It 95% erased the remaining mildew smell. Per their guide, soaking overnight (or at least 30–60 minutes) and then air-drying with a fan is key. There were still a few areas I had to physically remove—like seam caulking in the metal body, which can harbor mildew and must be cut out and replaced—but this product ended a month-long nightmare. I have genuine love for this product and would recommend trying it before anything else. That said, my situation was not typical. This was an extreme case. An ozone generator or chlorine dioxide bomb alone might work for most cars. Mine had a sunroof leak and a bad rear trunk seal or torn rubber molding—two active water intrusion points. The previous owners apparently just lived with it. It was absolutely insane.

My bottle arrived with the seal in tact and the cap on but it was leaking. Not much came out so I didn’t bother to return it. I have no idea how to really use it. So I filled the carpet cleaner machine with 1/3 cleaning solution and 2/3 water. I went over the pee stains a few times and then let it sit for 10-15 mins. Then I used the dry only function on the carpet cleaner. ALL THE STAINS ARE GONE!!! 100% GONE!!! My room smells so clean. It’s not a strong odor but it’s pleasant. I would like better instructions for the carpet cleaner. And I was a little disappointed it leaked. But I have never used anything so effective before and I have tried ALL the products. As another reviewer mentioned, Natures Miracle used to be amazing and now it sucks. This is gonna be my replacement for that product.

I won't pretend this stuff is perfect, heaven-sent, amazing, etc. But it does work better than anything I've found so far (MUCH better than Nature's Miracle, better than Kids N Pets, better than Arm & Hammer, better than RugDoctor) and the smell is extremely tolerable (almost pleasant even) and it seems fairly gentle. I use it on carpets, clothes, in drawers, in the laundry. And it does work pretty well, though sometimes takes 2 treatments. I had to renovate a whole room because cat pee seeped into the subfloor, and I used 3 rounds of Biokleen soaks, then painted a layer of Kilz primer before laying the flooring. This almost completely eradicated the smell. It's down to 99% gone, with the only lingering bit being where I went a bit too light with the Kilz coat.
