lorenzo no5 Extra Virgin Olive Oil 50cl Two Star Great Taste Award Winner 2012

The best olive oil we’ve ever tasted and we have had a lot, price was great but the surprise was the pnp probably won’t order again.

We were introduced to this oil (and another in the range) when first holidaying in Sicily. The hotel restaurant said it's kept it for their special guests because it's too expensive for just anyone, but having been to the same hotel three years running and hearing same patter any possibility of being made to feel special wore thin!Unlike the oil which at home we've used ever since, particularly in bread-making where the depth of taste and smoothness is incomparable.We are not connoisseurs so cannot say whether any of the dozens of other pricey (or possibly over-priced?) brands of olive oil would be as good if not better, but for us we are content to stick with Lorenzo.Good too that it's available via Amazon. My question to the seller was answered promptly, including a personal telephone call, ad the oil arrived securely packaged.

The bottle looks smart and the oil tastes good but not quite as delicious as I was hoping.

I was looking for something a bit special for salad dressings and this has certainly delivered on every level. So much better than the supermarket choices and really worth buying . For anyone who enjoys cooking it is a brilliant gift. Plus I just love the bottle ..... very elegant.

I first had this in a restaurant with 2 michelin stars in Sicily and this oil was actually the stand out of the evening. Rich aroma and a truly wonderful, full flavoured finish. Cannot recommend highly enough

My friend introduced me to this olive oil and it is in my opinion the best available in the UK!Has a more smooth and silkier consistency than most I’ve tried. Tastes great, the quality of the olives really comes through when cooking with this.Love the bottle feels and looks very high end and luxury!
