Very nice!!! The large one holds a bag of flour. I am very happy with the look and size of the canasters. If you are needing a canister set that actually holds a bag of sugar or flour, this is it. I am happy with the look also.

Be wary, the seals ARE quite potent, and it does take some finesse and muscle to take them off safely. The lid style is actually smart for how it's removed, and I get the impression they did a lot of testing to see what works best as a handle and holding position before landing on this. Though I was apprehensive when I first purchased. I will state the following. HOLD the jar with one arm, tucked in your arm holding to your body, while opening with the other hand, in almost a rocking motion until the top finally comes off, to avoid it moving around and popping off with any force. Especially the two larger ones. Absolutely fantastic design, quality construction, good quality stainless steel. When you do wash the lids, make sure to carefully wipe the inside and move it side to side to allow the water to enter the center, as there are a lot of hidden spots water seeps into. I actually had to reclean the jars after sealing them empty, thinking I properly wiped down the lids. No, I had excess water vapor there that went into the jars and sat there for a little over a week, maybe two, before I finally opened it up to put something in. Then had to clean the jars and figured out the water came from the lid and the room temp heat. No growth of any kind, and no rust on the stainless steel. So that's quality food grade Stainless Steel.

Good sizes, well made, great seals, pretty on the counter. Not fingerprint proof. Really like these.

I had been looking for a nice set of canisters for a long time. Most of what I saw was pre-labeled "Flour, Sugar, Coffee, Tea, or some other variation. Or, they were not truly airtight. Or, they were just too small in general. I am a home baker, and needed something that would not only be attractive in my kitchen, but would be sturdy, hold an airtight seal, and be large enough to suit my needs. The largest of the canisters easily holds 7 lbs of flour. The next size holds 5 lbs of flour. The next holds at least 3 lbs of sugar and the smallest, about 2/3 a bag of brown sugar. The seal is SUPER tight. You can lift the canister with the 7lbs of flour by its lid (I did this as a test...I would NOT recommend carrying across a distance in that manner!). As for the complaints about having to constantly wipe off fingerprints, I followed the advice of another reviewer, and wiped a very small amount of olive oil onto the sides, then using a dry paper towel , wiped them completely dry. I use these canisters daily, and other than a quick dusting off, I only have to re-oil about every 2 weeks or so. I absolutely recommend these canisters. Their sleek design would go well with just about any kitchen décor, and are worth every penny!

The order came in excellent time, it was well packaged and the canisters look great! They're much better quality than the set they're replacing. The main reason for replacing the old ones was that not only were they not big enough to hold a 4 or 5 pound bag of anything, they didn't seal well at all. These hold those size bags with room to spare, they seal firmly, and they look great!

I really love these! Easy to clean and they seal really well! I like that the tops are glass and you can see into the container. The larger containers are big enough to hold a whole container of flour and sugar!
