I bought this because my mother has MS and mobility issues. We raised her motorized scooter seat to make it easier for her to get in and out of bed but that left the toilet seat to low. We had a 4 inch riser before this one that we got at a local drugstore. This one is truly taller and exactly what we needed. The plastic is very sturdy and easy to clean. I was skeptical when I took it out of the packaging but it really works. It cannot just sit on the toilet, you have to use the clamps but the clamps are clamping! Our shorter riser had a tendency to slide no matter how much we clamped it. This seat is not going anywhere. It's been very helpful in the few weeks we've had it and it serves us purpose very well for my house. Update: We've had this for several months now and it works great. Even the lid is still going strong and is vast and dignified improvementover every other riser we've ever had that didn't come with a lid. I am able to sit on it without breaking it. And even my kids who are destroyers of everything have not found a way to destroy this. I am donating one to a friend who is having surgery and I feel very confident saying this is what they need!

This toilet seat riser saved my knees (both need replacing and go out periodically) and helped so much after tailbone surgery the other day. It hurts to squat even the smallest amount. With this on my toilet, I can sit right down and stand back up with very little pain at all.

The fit is good, and it even looks fairly nice in appearance overall. But the lid ... it has flimsy plastic hinges that broke off. The cover is gently opened and closed, it should not have broken like it did. This means the top has to be 'leaned' or 'removed' and placed elsewhere when the toilet is in use. There isn't even a way to repair or jimmy rig the cover to reattach it. We are past the 30 day return window unfortunately.

My very tall husband has bad knees and most toilets are too low for him to easily get up and down. When he learned he was going to require heart surgery, we knew that grab bars weren't going to be an option so I shopped for toilet seat risers. This one was perfect. First, I don't have to remove the existing toilet seat and lid. This one sits down on my oval shaped toilet and clamps with two screws on the side. At first I thought it wasn't going to stay put and be unstable but when I loosened the screws on the sides just a little, it became very stable. This seat is taller than most of the ones I've seen advertised so this was a real plus for my husband. I put it on a newer, taller toilet and had to add a stool for the short people (me) in the house. If you have standard toilets, this will be perfect to give the average person a little height so they can easily get up and down. It's easy to clean, has it's own lid and doesn't look too bad.

The lid is very flimsy. It broke on the latch even before we got it installed. However I do like the way it fits on the toilet. It totally covers the rim so crud doesn't get under it, like my old one that just sat on top. And it goes on and off easily so I can take it off and clean under it periodically. For that reason I didn't return it as soon as we got it. But buyer beware that the lid is flimsy is an understatement.

NO, WOULD NOT FIT ON THE TOILET KEPT COMING OFF. THE LOCKING HATCH WOULD NOT HOLD IN PLACE. DIDN'T REALIZED HAD GONE PAST THE RETURN DATE. STUCK WITH IT. NOT MADE VERY WELL. VERY DISSATIFIED!!

I purchased this to "elevate" a very low toilet in a basement suite, figuring it would be cheaper than a new toilet. I was right - this thing is great! I'm sure it would be very useful for anyone needing the elevation for mobility issues as well. The lid is a bit flimsy but works just fine and the whole unit attached well and securely. Very pleased.

便座の座り、立ち上がりが楽になりました。

太腿と膝が痛いため、低い便座に苦労していましたが座るのが楽になりました。身長174cmで15cmアップですが、10cmでも良かったかもしれません。 当初、取り付けは簡単で洗浄便座ともぎりぎり干渉しないと思えましたが、実際に座ると体重で少しずれて洗浄便座本体の傾斜した端の部分を押すことになり、洗浄ノズルが正常に出なくなりました。厚さ1cm弱のスペーサを作って便器奥側と本製品の間に挟み込んで僅かに浮かせる事で正常に使える様になりました。またフタは、上げた洗浄便座の便座部分と干渉してすぐ閉まってしまうので、紐で引っ掛ける用にして使っています。

Diese Sitzerhöhung funktioniert wirklich gut, ist stabil und leicht zu montieren. Man muss nur genau die Anweisung befolgen und nicht anfangen zu "denken", wie ich es gemacht habe. Aber aufgepasst: Man sollte vorher messen, welche Höhe man braucht. Für mich ist 15 cm zu hoch, ich komme knapp mit den Füßen auf den Boden, bei meiner Größe von 1,70. Ich habe jetzt kurz entschlossen denselben Sitz noch Mal mit 10 cm Höhe bestellt, und dazu eine weiche Auflage, weil das Ding doch ziemlich hart ist.
