Caseology Parallax for Galaxy S8 Case (2017) - Award Winning Design - Black

(This review is for the Samsung S8 case.) So I bought this after forking out for a cheap case which was rubbish. This one was recommended in several online articles. I have only used it for a few days, but am very pleased. My main concern was the overheating, but I am running Pokemon go on it for hours and have had no issues. There is no front cover, but with the upper and lower lip of the case being raised enough to put it face down on a table without the screen touching it, I don't find it necessary. There is obviously strengthened corners on it, although I am not willing to test the toughness of them. The back of the case is surprisingly easy to grip, it has very slight grooves that fits your fingertips so you really feel like you have a firm grip on it. Considering the high level of protection you get from this, the profile of the case is impressively slim. Very pleased, I highly recommend this!Note: reduced to 4 stars because this seller is pestering me to write a review. (I did, d'uh, and it WAS a good one, too.) They are obviously too lazy to check, and prefer to just blanket spam all buyers.

I was amazed when a jerk PUNCHED my phone out of my hand and it fell down a flight of concrete stairs. I thought my phone is 100% broken but against all odds it was perfectly fine (bar a minor scratch on the screen.) The case didnt take much damage either it was scuffed up a tiny bit.Now for my complaints. I was sitting down on an astro turf field with my phone (it had the case on) i placed my phone on the floor and when i picked it up 5 mins later and it had minor scuffs on the corners. This did anger me as i had only had the case for about a week and i expected it to be "military grade".But overall i think you should buy this case if you dont care about looks and stuff but want practicality. Also its great for the finger print sensor.

Very nice case that looks perfect on the phone - the pattern on the rear looks fantastic. Not bulky at all but offers great protection. The lip at the top and bottom is enough to protect the screen without being intrusive.I have dropped my phone countless times on a variety of surfaces and the case has saved it from all harm. I did manage to break the case slightly as part of the plastic fractured and came loose. The case actually still worked but was just a tiny bit loose and the broken part would get caught on pockets. Superglued it back down and its perfect again.

Very pleased with this case. My son has one on his Samsung S8, and it's withstood the "Drop it onto concrete" test with flying colours - no damagee at all. The case fits well, gives good protection to the corners. It is quite thin, so doesn't bulk-up the phone unduly. The cut-outs for the cables are all neat & well positioned. The buttons on the sides are all protected, and work well when pressed. The cut-out in the back is a good size to allow your finger to easily cover the fingerprint sensor - other cases I've tried didn't allow this, making the sensor nigh-on impossible to use. Nice colour too. Relatively expensive case, but I think worth it.

Right, after buying 2 cheap cases for my S8 and not being happy with them, i opted in buying one of these for £12.Good points -Fits the phone really well (nice tight fit)Raised on the top and bottom so the screen doesnt touch surface when faced down.Feels great in the hand - great texture.Great grip and around the edge.Plastic buttons covers work great.Modern design.Bad points -Does make the phone a lot wider. However having had the S6 prior to this (which is wider than the S8) i dont mind.More designs would be nice.All in all, for the price you pay you really are getting a solid product which i can imagine will last a while :)

Caseology Galaxy S8 Case, [Parallax Series] Black/Orchid Grey - visually, can't fault the design - looks really smart, fits well and seems like it would give excellent protection if dropped but... I'm finding it just a bit too slippery. It looks like it should be more non-slip than it actually is so after a month of use I'm going to give a gel case a go instead.

High quality case, fits the phone well and is well textured making it easy to keep a grip on the phone. As a result haven't dropped the phone so couldn't say how well it protects. But it does have air gaps between the back of the phone and it so should work well. It also has a lip that is proud of the screen edge so if dropped onto it's face the screen shouldn't take it. Buttons are all covered but the moulded in tabs fit and work well.Only negative would be it adds a bit of weight and size to what is a wonderfully thin phone. With it on its about the size of a caseless normal phone.

Ordered this case just after pre ordering the Samsung s8 to have immediate protection from my clumsy self. Arrived just 3 working days after ordering! This case is stunning, so stylish yet sturdy. Material feel luxe and smooth yet not slippy, the outer casing actually clips into the silicone base so there's no chance of it coming off easily when on the phone, which is a problem I've had with a spigen neohybrid case similar to this one. So gorgeous I can't wait to use it!
