Expensive, but lovely in an omlette
Opened and spears were standing to attention in the tin. Made a baked omlette with fresh spinach and finely chopped spring onions. Didn't add salt, just pepper. Simple but delicious. Would have given more stars but are quite expensive.

Dented tins
12 tins of Epicure Green Asparagus Spears delivered.5 tins were badly dented. Outer box not damaged and only a small indentation to one corner of the packaged tins ie cardboard base with a plastic wrapping. When were the tins dented before packaging or after?

Good food cupboard standby
Tinned asparagus my not be as good as fresh but I like them microwaved in their original "juice" with salt for about 5 minutes. A good food cupboard standby.
