... version of these trousers many years ago and really liked them at the time
Had the original version of these trousers many years ago and really liked them at the time. The eventually lost their waterproofing at the knees through constant abrasion against wet vegetation. This new version looks unlikely to suffer from the same problem due to the extra layer at the knees where there is an insert pocket. Not sure if I can use all the pockets as I carry all my gear in a molle vest. I will use these trousers in the autumn and winter as they are too warm for the summer months.

Outstanding product. If you're lucky enough to be S or 2XL you should buy these asap. They are the best and never made/beaten again
