The New Yorker Book of Golf Cartoons

I gave this to someone as an xmas present and they loved it! A little humor goes a long way.

I occasionally leave my dog in the car while I do an errand. To keep her occupied, I used the wooly mat, sprinkled with some of her kibbles. When I returned to the car, my dog was still snuffling through the fibers to find her treats. When the treats are gone, she also likes to cuddle in it!

Cartoons are sometimes old, but being the New Yorker, they're still great. It almost makes me want to be a golfer so I can poke fun at myself.

I've probably become jaded, expecting all volumes of NEW YORKER cartoons to be wonderful. So this "specialty" edition -- like others -- came as a bit of a disappointment. Some "howlers" here, but they are few. Oh, well, even Superman has his bad days, when his cape turns a dull, dark crimson. Seen as he emerges from a bar.The best bet in NEW YORKER cartoons comes in the "general" editions, of the "year -in-cartoons" ilk. They NEVER disappoint.

Love it, and you can read over and over and still love it!
