Best nail file I’ve literally ever owned. I have weak nails that always tear and split and I have to use a file at least once every other day or so. I don’t know how they got it so right but this nail file is one of those ones that takes off masses of length off without taking ages to do it and without needing to be a rough grit file. It takes all the work out of filing - just a few quick swipes and you literally lose so much length. Yet it also does it so smoothly without any discomfort or weird jittery grinding sensation (it’s not course like sand paper), it’s so smooth to the touch and yet, it grinds down both real fingernails and false ones beautifully with no discomfort and it doesn’t catch the skin either when near the edges of the nail. One thing I literally didn’t expect to be honest (I didn’t check the product details) - this file is HUGE. I expected something about the size of my pinkie and I got one nearly the length of my foot (I really should look at product descriptions more - I just looked at review rating and that was good enough for me lol). I was shocked when it came (and the delighted by how it performed and how the size of it made it such value for money). They are glass so definitely prone to breaking. Unfortunately I stupidly knelt on mine by accident as it was on my bed (the file was white and blended into the bedding and it shattered all over my bedding - my fault entirely) and my heart broke as it was the most perfect one I’d ever had. I’m actually going to order one again as I know they’re brilliant quality and last ages when you don’t do stupid stuff like lying them on a white bedspread. If you love keeping your nails filed and shaped but hate how long it takes to do that and want a nice smooth file that makes everything easy, this is what you need.

So, I was converted to the Leighton Denny crystal file about 20 yrs ago. So much gentler on your nails than emery boards. Sadly, after many years’ service, it needed replacing. Saw the price of the LD ones and my heart sank - no way could I justify spending that much. Looked a little further down the page and saw these. Honestly, it’s just as brilliant. But more than twice the size! And being so big (but not clumsily so) means that your nails are filed in less time. Another proof that you don’t have to keep to the big brands!

This is my second one of these nail files...my old one didn't break, but I had had it a few years, and it must have worn down in that time, as the new one is so much gritter and harsher. It is a great file, but the case falls apart, and the file can slip through...it has been a close thing at times.

I've never used a crystal nail file before but after using this for the first time I now won't use anything else I've been doing my own acrylic infills and gel colour so needed a good file so after reading all the rave reviews thought I'd try this one. I'm not a huge fan of emery boards as I always find they leave uneven catchy nails but this crystal one leaves them super smooth It doesn't seem to matter if you use it in one direction or a see-saw action I think it removes more than you think it does in one swish so it's super quick to use. It removed excess acrylic easily so I'm sure it'd also work just as well on natural nails But it's how smooth it left my nails that really impressed me As long as I don't drop it and crack it I think it will last for years, so although it initially seems a bit expensive in the long run will probably pay for itself as well as giving a super smooth finish quckly and very easily Highly recommended

La lima è arrivata perfettamente imballata e nei tempi previsti. Articolo ottimo che lavora le unghie senza aggredirle. Insostituibile nel caso di problemi di sfaldamento o fragilità, è molto utile per qualunque tipo di unghia : consente di dare una forma gradevole in totale comfort, arrotondando i margini senza creare antiestetici spigoli. Niente a che vedere con lime di cartone. Può essere usato con leggerezza anche su unghie ondulate prima del buffer lucidante . Davvero molto soddisfatta!!!
