This repair kit is very handy and works well. The wax sticks are firm and melt smoothly when using the heat pen. The heat pen itself feels strong and well-made, and it heats up quickly. The color options for both the wax and the markers blend nicely with different wood tones. I used it on my wood floor and also on a table, and the results looked very good. The scraper tool is solid and helps make the repair smooth and even. All the materials in this kit feel good quality and not cheap. It made fixing scratches, cracks, and small holes easy to do at home. I’m glad I got this kit

This worked very well as a expected. While it is made for hardwood floor, I specifically used to repair wood pieces I made. The color markers were ok to try to match actual stained sections to repair parts that were missed after stain. It also easy to smooth out the applied color on wood. I tried the wax bars on some small sections, and that was really cool for me since it's the first time I use it.I think it's good for the money, and my second try at such repair kits.

I initially wanted to repair some laminate flooring but I found that this product works extremely well on furniture! As a lover of antiquity I was able to fill in gashes and scratches on a very old spindle table. It works great. A little patience goes a long way. As for the floor it helped quite a bit however color matching was difficult for me as I have very dark floors. Unless you’re on top of repair you can’t tell. Just use caution when mopping

I was looking for a repair kit for my laminate floors and found this set. I like that it has multiple colors to choose from so that you can get close to the floors color with the wax and can follow up with the color pens too. Very easy to use and very effective with the color matching. The kit is worth the cost. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I've used 3 of the pens so far to cover up some very noticeable scratches on my dark hardwood floors, dining room chairs, and kitchen table legs (big chew marks from my dog). All three have different colored wood, and I was able to find a marking pen from the set that matched well with the wood. They are super easy to use -- basically markers for your furniture and floors, and the items look much better.

I don’t know if I received a defective application tool with my kit, but with the heated application tool I could barely peel off the fleck of the wax. There’s absolutely no way that colors could have been mixed while the wax was hot. Nor, could enough wax have been heated to fill the pea-sized hole I was trying to fill. Obviously, I did not want to touch the tip of the tool to see how warm it was. In the product description on Amazon it says “If necessary, you can use a lighter to speed up the heating of the wax” (note, this is not in the instructions included in the kit). The sticks of wax are only 1.5 inches long and I’m not comfortable trying to use a lighter heat something up that close to my fingertips. This kit did not work for me and I am returning it.

So I mostly used the wax cubes and they are great! Had a client with brown color vinyl flooring and some pieces had chipped corner and she asked if we can replace them, or somehow fill the holes. I used this and the brown color worked perfectly, matching the floor color. Just melt the wax using the heat pen or whatever you call it, then fill the hole, then wait about 10sec and use the scrapper to smooth the surface. I couldn't tell where I filled the holes unless I look super close. Love it. I have whiteish/light grey vinyl and the white didn't really work that well on mine tho but for the price it is really great.
