Learn Fusion 360 Like a Pro with This Valuable Resource for 3D Enthusiasts
If you're looking for a comprehensive guide to using Fusion 360 for 3D modeling and manufacturing, this book is an excellent resource. The author covers a wide range of topics, from turning and milling to laser cutting and 3D printing, and provides valuable advice and best practices based on their years of experience in the industry. What sets this book apart is that it doesn't just focus on the technical details of the software, but also provides insights into the practical aspects of manufacturing, such as choosing the right construction technology and optimizing production lots. The arrangement of the chapters in this book makes it easy to follow along and learn at your own pace. While the author assumes some familiarity with CAD software and the Fusion 360 design module, they do an excellent job of teaching the rest, from handling part setup to implementing advanced operations like thread milling and 3D profiling. The chapter on managing the limitations of FDM printers is especially helpful for those new to 3D printing.Overall, this book is a valuable resource for anyone looking to turn their design ideas into final products. The author's experience and insights, combined with the comprehensive coverage of the software, make this a must-read for anyone looking to improve their skills in Fusion 360. I highly recommend it!

A great resource to learn the basics of CAM through Fusion 360 (and CoroPlus)
This book is a good resource for beginners in the CAM space using Fusion 360, The CoroPlus Plug-in and the Nesting and Fabrication Extension in Fusion 360. This books covers turning, milling, laser cutting and 3D printing with pretty great detail that is easy for a beginner to understand and consume to produce legitimate parts. The book explains a lot of very important basics to computer aided manufacturing and how to understand what exactly it is what you’re doing. It isn’t just a book of random examples like many books out there. The examples given explain exactly what it is you’re doing, how to do it and how to apply these concepts to other parts and of course your own parts. Additionally, it covers a lot of terminology and operations that you can and probably will see in the manufacturing space and machining capabilities of the previously mentioned CNC operations. The figures and images, like most books in this genre are extremely helpful. The figures illustrate exactly what you will see on the screen. This also makes working through examples significantly simpler. However, while they are easy to understand they are not always the prettiest. While I do not believe any resources is the single, definitive resource for anything, this is a great resource and way to start learning CAM concepts in Fusion 360. As somebody with a formal college education in product design and DFM engineering with a multitude of certifications this does a great job of melding core manufacturing concepts with the computer operations for really anybody wanting to learn these concepts in detail. While you won’t be learning material sciences, you will be learning how to adjust operations based on materials and what material characteristics affect any and all operations covered in the book.Overall, if you are new to CAM at all this is a great resource. I would recommend toying with Fusion 360’s modeling capabilities before learning it’s CAM abilities and extension’s abilities, but this is a great resource to learn how to setup parts, understand how materials might affect machining operations, learn different types of CNC operations and a good understanding of them. This book is a great companion to have on your CAM and Fusion 360 journey as a beginner, mechanical designer, CAM operator, hobbyist, or engineer.

Amazing Details
This book starts with the basics and explains the parameters down to the coordinate systems and different operations. All the machining strategies are mentioned. The are a few pages on understanding the tools. The software used here is fusion 360 mostly, where the tool libraries are discussed and creating a new tool is also discussed. Next parts are focused on the turning and milling operations. Part 4 is particularly interesting with an insight into additive manufacturing with pros cons and different 3d printing technologies and how to manage limitation on a 3d printer. There is also a quiz section through the chapters.
