Hotties Microwave Natural Thermal Heat Pad for Pets

My lovely Millie is very fond of this, and looks forward to it coming out of the microwave at bedtime, and before we go in the car in winter. She's small and skinny, and has short fur so can get cold easily. It is the perfect size for her to snuggle up on, and not so bulky and wobbly that balancing is a problem.I love that even when she had a good chew at this she didn't damage the cover, and even gave up on chewing it 'cos it gave her no satisfaction. Perfect as she is a monster chewer!I'm not sure it would keep her warm all night, but I always let her in with me after a few hours. It's still warm after about 4 hours, which is all I need, but not sure how long it would keep warm; I guess it would lose heat less fast when snuggled under blankets and warm dog.

Need to apply heat to my dogs back twice a day as part of his therapy for an abnormal spine. Was struggling with a hot water bottle as too hit and miss, heat-wise. This heats to a good temperature in the microwave and is easier to apply. It's just a bit too big to go in my microwave, which isn't particularly small, but I can fold the cover over at the edge and it just goes in if put at the right angle! Didn't think to check the size when ordering

It says it keeps it heat for 10 hours but I haven't found that to be true, it actually goes cold after a couple of hours.

I bought the Hotties thermal pad that comes in a fleece cover for my old cat. It was OK but needed replacing.Before I bought the same one again I came across the pet version which is a lot better. I think this one will last longer as it looks and feels more robustand my cat likes it.

It does warm up to a nice level, but doesn't stay warm for as long as I hoped. If my dog lies on top of it in his bed, it keeps its heat, but if he doesn't then it goes cold within a couple of hours.I could probably warm it a bit more, but the warnings on the packaging really put me off doing more.

Elderly cat loves this, beats a hot water bottle. Holds the heat for a good few hours. Could do with being a little bigger.

I was happy with this product but have only had them since November. Heated up as instructions but now one made a loud bang while in the microwave and can’t be used. Came out boiling hot too. Could not put it in my cats bed.

I use them as a top up for cst beds. To take the edge off the cold. I prefer them to the solid plastic ones.

My darling scaredy cat loves to do the loaf sitting position on this warmer. It's brilliant, and a third of the price of other cat warmers.It is soft, even when it is cold, so kitty stays comfortable.I bought another brand, that is round like a Frisbee. When it is cold it's like a piece of concrete.Kitty couldn't be happier with her 'Hotties' when my lap is not available.
