Very different flavors
Haha jokes on me as I thought I was getting some basic flavors of jam/jelly. Jam company threw me off too BUT that is my fault for not looking more thoroughly, I was just so excited to say yes! Buy it now! These are spreadable jelly like substances that are not your regular flavors.Strawberry Chipotle fig was my least favorite as it was just too spicy. Smoked yellow peach reminded me of smoked meat. But Blueberry Lemon Basil was divine and I don't even like Basil.I also liked that it gives recommendations of other uses (not your typical jelly)- you can use on oatmeal, in tea or cocktails, or mix it in with cooked veggies! All of which I am trying! Overall 4 stars- very unique flavors and if you are adventurous with your palette you will love them.

drizzle it, dip it, add it to food or drink
The media could not be loaded. Lovely, intriguing flavors. Not your typical jam or spread. These are low sugar with just enough sweetness to give it that jam vibe. No artificial sweeteners. Just a fresh flavor. Not exactly a spreadable product. It is loose and pourable, but certainly could be applied to toast if that it your thing. I think these "jams" are going to shine when used in more unique applications. Like a puree in a drink, or drizzled over oatmeal, yogurt, or ice cream (I tried them all on vanilla ice cream!-yum!). Or use it as a dip.Get your inner foodie to branch into creativity with these special jams. I think it would pair well with a protein- get that sweet and savory thing going on, or with cheese. I was thinking that any of these would be nice paired with cheese when I saw that they include a recipe for a melted cheese sandwich in the product pictures. Yes! Stuff like that.Or even eat it direct from jar on a spoon. I do that to get a little sweet fix on the fly.I am not sure which one is my favorite. They are all different enough to make this a great option as a food themed gift. Packed in individual boxes, they could be parted out for sharing.I dont rate on price, but I comment. Wont be a pantry staple for me, but I find the quality and taste to be very good. Definitely important to know that it is a loose jam (no pectin, nothing to firm it up), but it doesnt stop it fro being used in a wide variety of applications (if anything the texture gives it all this versatility).Product pics show: Strawberry Chipotle Fig (sweet with a little spice), Smoked Yellow Peach (sweet with hint of smoke), and Blackberry Mulled Merlot. The last one is not listed in the product description and instead lists Blueberry Lemon Basil. That is what I have. It is a balance of sweet and earthy. They should clarify for sure what people are ordering.

Fun twist on a pantry staple.
The Trade Street Jam Co. - Signature Trio Gift Set is a fun twist on a traditional pantry staple. I was curious about the low sugar and sodium when I ordered them as I am trying to be more aware of the salt and sugar that are often hidden in packaged foods. The three flavors that I received were Strawberry Chipotle Fig, Smoked Yellow Peach, and Blueberry Lemon Basil (my favorite). All three of the fruit spreads were delicious. To me, they are more of a savory spread than a sweet one, which I found perfect for mixing into oatmeal or drizzling on a cracker. Each of the flavors has its own signature qualities that make each jar an experience to try.The Strawberry Chipotle Fig was sweet with a hint of heat. (I grew up in the southwest, so I may have a warped sense of heat, but I considered it very mild.)The Smoked Yellow Peach has a very smokey flavor to it which lends it to more savory applications in my book. The Blueberry Lemon Basil is both tart and mildly sweet. The added basil made me happy every time I used it, and as my favorite, it was the first jar we finished. The jars were individually boxed, so they could be split up as gifts if desired and would be easy to wrap.

Fantastic, unique flavors. Just sweet enough.
These jams really hit the mark. I'm super impressed with every aspect of them and the taste is phenomenal. The flavors alone are unique enough to justify giving them a go.Here are my quick thoughts:-Taste: Fantastic in a single word. In more: the specified fruits and flavors really shine through but don't overtake the overall flavor of the jam. You get a nice touch of everything, just enough to search for and appreciate.-Texture: To me the texture is perfect and nicely spreadable. Unlike many jams these are not like a gel (which imo is a great thing.) They have a more natural texture and are representative of the textures of their ingredients.-They're vegan! I love not eating horse hoof.-Unique flavors! These aren't your average smuckers flavors. They are really fun to experiment with on different foods.-I'm a huge fan of adding a spoonful to my morning oatmeal as they can transform the flavor with little added jam.-Sweetness: to my palate these are very well sweetened. They are sweet enough to taste like a treat but not overly sugary and taste closer to a fruit than a spoon of sugar.Long story short I give these jams high praise and can 100% recommend trying them.

Saucy and sassy! Creative tasty flavors that add a fantastic flavor experience.
I am a fan of jams, sauces, and anything that is unique that can lift up my cooking to another level. I love that these are made without any added sugar and are organic. I just had to try the Strawberry, Chipotle, Fig first and it is all I had hoped for. For me, the taste experience was Strawberry then Fig and finally - the heat from the Chipotle rounding it off perfectly with just enough spice. Wow. I put this on crackers with some whipped sheep cheese and could not have picked a better combo. As you eat more of it, you start to see visions of uses and my first recipe will likely be a lavash based pizza with gouda, caramelized onions, figs, arugula, and this drizzled over all along with some chopped nuts. If you need inspiration, they have recipes available as well which is always nice. This trio is a bit expensive but, for gift giving or a splurge to treat yourself, the quality and taste make them worthy of that. I look forward to trying the other two flavors to see what inspiration they bring!
