This Life The Complete Collection [DVD] [2016]

Wow. I remember being 16 and catching these when I came in from drinking cheap bottled Cider, and listening to Blur on my Sony Walkman! Like Blur, This Life complete encapsulates a probably the final great times in our history. Certainly London, anyway. And, the standout has to be the amazing Andrew Lincoln. Most people know him now as Rick Grimes from the Walking Dead, but this is where it all started. His turn as the Dropout Law Graduate, whose feelings of inadequacy and failure only grow as he watches his smart, pretty Girlfriend slowly grow apart from his lazy, unenthusiastic personality. Thankfully, it only lasted 2 seriess and wasn't worn out by going on too long. They just don't make them like this anymore. Also, a fun bit of trivia. A then unknown Ricky Gervais was responsible for the choices of music on the show!!!

Loved this series the 1st time around ('96 / '97' ) on BBC2 ,grabbed the boxset a week ago because I couldn't wait for the rebroadcasts on cable week to week.Almost finished S1 and it's just as good as I remember (which is pretty impressive for 24 years !). Sure, the fashions might look slightly out of place occasionally (tho I didn't notice), but overall, the characters don't suffer from +20 years. Attitudes have changed since of course, so some of the dilemas aren't so relevant, but for the most part it all still applies today. Great seriesa, really enjoying rewatching it after al these years.

This was my favourite tv show in the 90s and i enjoyed it just as much watching it again. Discs were in perfect condition.

I was a fan when this was first aired and was looking for some nostalgic TV. It hasn't disappointed and even my 17 year old son enjoys it. Excellent ordering and delivery. Would make a great gift for a 40 something person.

One the best ever series. Over the moon that I can watch it again. Love it

This was one of the best presents I bought my (30 something) wife.She still loves me for this........ Great box set with the additional bonus CD for the later episodes (the reunion).

I missed this first time around, thoroughly enjoyed the first two series, wasn't too impressed with the +10 though, but it was a good watch...
