I recently purchased this one-way window privacy film for my living room windows, which face a fairly busy street. I was looking for a solution that would allow me to enjoy natural light without feeling like I was living in a fishbowl, and this film has definitely delivered! The "see out, not in" feature works exactly as described during the day. From the inside, my view is clear and bright. However, when I step outside, the windows have a nice reflective look that prevents anyone from easily seeing inside. It's exactly what I wanted for added privacy. Installation was surprisingly straightforward. The instructions were clear, and the film adhered to the glass smoothly after I cleaned the windows thoroughly and used a spray bottle with soapy water as recommended. I took my time to squeegee out any air bubbles, and the result looks very professional. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. It's an affordable and effective way to enhance daytime privacy, reduce glare, and block UV rays. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a similar solution.

Great look! Easy installing. The blade doesn't seem stay on when cutting. The rubber isn't that great. Difficult to put part together. I use my credit card. Works way better.

Love how colorful it is and the combination of barely see through and the solid, varied colors. These are nearly opaque, so definitely can't see through it, so be sure that's what you want. Cutting was easy enough, I only messed up one tiny part of an edge. Putting it on was a bit tricky because you're supposed to use water and it makes it slide all over the place. It's lasted almost 2 years now (indoors, but is in Florida sun daily), so seems durable.

I purchased this to apply on a large window that was recently replaced due to being broken. It is a west facing window and in the mid-late afternoon the room it is in became an oven. There is central air, and a window unit in the room to boost cooling, and they were not able to keep up. It is an old building, and I'm sure the insulation isn't up to snuff to start with. The film came complete with squeegee, cutter and a spray bottle. I didn't use the spray bottle as it was pretty small and I was doing a large window with 2 sheets of this film. I used a large kitchen spray bottle I had available. The film went on easy, and the bubbles worked out fairly quickly. I worked from the top down to the bottom, and side to side. The film felt heavy-duty, quite thick compared to films I have applied in the past. The reduction in heat coming from the window was significant. It did noticeably darken the view from the window, but it is not bothersome. I ended up placing two sheets side by side to fit the glass. The two sheets mated up side by side with almost no visible seam, so we were really happy with that. I actually bought three rolls in case I messed one up, but didn't need the third as it went so well. 5 stars for supplying everything needed in the kit at a good price, and the film seeming to be of good quality.

Works great during the day but your privacy fades at night. So put a light on it from outside at night.

Relatively easy to install. It does not block direct sunlight. Way too much glare still coming in.

We need a reflective film to increase privacy and security at an office location. I am not an expert in installations, but thankfully took my quite handy husband with me to help. The product ultimately worked beautifully and met expectations for privacy and still allowing light in, but a few tips for installation since the instructions that come with it are a bit lacking and I never would've guessed before going through it: 1. Unless you're using a small roll for a fairly small window, it's a two-person job. It's just too hard for one person to handle the film, cut it, handle it once it's wet and clingy, position it, etc. 2. The tools you'll need - a spray bottle, squeegee, and film-cutter - all come inside the tube the film is rolled around. I could see how someone could miss them if they just opened the box and saw the roll and no tools, but they are there. 3. CLEAN the windows FIRST. VERY well. We had to use Windex and a razor blade to get some residual tape and other gunk off so the window is very clean and clear. Makes adhesion of the film much more likely. 4. It's helpful to do a pre-measure & cut ahead of trying to position the film. You will not want to be trying to deal with positioning, wetting, smoothing, etc. while also trying to cut it. You may *trim* a bit (like a sliver) off the edges once you get it mostly applied if it's a smidge off, but you'll want it more or less the right size BEFORE you try applying it. 5. Do not underestimate the importance of the water. You basically want the window and the film as wet as the spray bottle will get it (i.e., you wouldn't want to soak it in a tub, but you want the whole sheet sprayed, as well as the window). The goal is to basically "float" the film on the window - that reduces the bubbles, and makes it MUCH easier to both position the film and smooth it out. NOTE: the spray bottle that comes with the kit is TINY, so if you're doing larger pieces, you may want a bigger spray bottle handy. 6. Be patient with smoothing. We found that wrapping the squeegee in a damp microfiber cloth helped the smoothing process, and also kept everything damp while doing so. Once you get all the bubbles out - and make sure you get it smooth ALL the way to every edge and corner - you can go over it with a dry cloth or the plain squeegee. Having done all that, the film looked great on all the windows, and definitely served the purpose. Would absolutely buy again!
