I have stitched many kits from this company. All have been well put together. I really like the time they take to separate the threads and label them. It makes stitching similar colors harder to confuse. I have rarely run out of a thread color needed and the fact that they are linked to the DMC order numbers makes buying any addition threads easy. This kit is a quality product and I would definitely recommend. I might add that these kits always arrive quicker than indicated and that is a plus!!

First of all, this is stamped cross stitch pattern, which I absolutely love! I hate the patterns where you have to count and recount and inevitably end up redoing half your work. The pattern is fun and consistent with the picture. Pretty decently sized too! Here’s the only con- you’re going to need extra white thread. If you follow the instructions, you’ll only end up using 2 strands of white. This is not enough to cover the green color on the stamped pattern that they used to designate white. I recommend three threads at least, and you may end up needing to double back if you feel it’s showing through too much but I found three threads provided better coverage and eliminated me doubling back like I needed to in the first few rows. So, plan on extra white thread and otherwise enjoy the beautiful pattern. Also, yes, I’m aware I could wash in cold water and the pattern would probably bleed out or fade. However, I’d rather add extra thread to prevent and potential bleeding of green dye in to my white thread (which would require me to redo stitching anyway!). Most sites I’ve looked at actually don’t recommend washing stamped patterns anyhow.

Easy to follow instructions and dog is really cute BUT when I followed the instructions to wash the item to remove all the lines the orange collar bled thus ruining the completed work

These are easy and fun, and they come out nicely - but you WILL need more embroidery thread!! I actually ordered another kit so I would have enough! It was cheaper and quicker than trying to order thread from the manufacturer or trying to find an embroidery store.
