My podiatrist had given me a list of shoes that were best for this condition and brooks was one of them. My physical therapist suggested brooks over the others but they were, in my opinion, outrageously priced so I started to wear Asics instead. While Asics is good and I could definitely feel more support with them on versus the adidas and sketchers that I had been previously wearing, I still continued to have the fasciitis heel/foot pain on & off depending on how much walking I did or how long I was on my feet. I'm also in the medical field so being on your feet all day is part of the job. I have done the stretches, ice, rest, orthotic inserts, etc but nothing helps to keep the pain away.... it is also interfering with my daily life, I have a hard time just vacuuming and cleaning my house because I can't be on my feet too long without needing to sit down. I saw these brooks had been marked down and "on sale" during Christmas so I figured, I'd just suck it up and buy them. Well, after literally one day, my feet are not hurting. I was at work, and it just hit me.. "hey, my feet aren't killing me as I'm walking back & forth" and they continue not to hurt even after I take the sneakers off! I am so glad I bought them and have since ordered 2 more pairs. I bought my regular size of 8 Medium width (I don't have a wide foot) and they fit fine. They do give/stretch a little after wearing so I think if I sized up to the recommended size of 8.5 they would have ended up being too big (desertcart suggested 8.5 & some reviews say to size up). They are somewhat difficult to get on with the sock like liner (which I like) but to be pain free, I will deal with that. I'm sorry I didn't purchase them sooner.. (hopefully I am not jinxing myself lol). Review: Comfy and Cute - The color is great. I was looking for a casual shoe to were with jeans. True to size with other models of Brooks. The material around the ankle made me wish I had wore higher socks. Very comfortable but no show socks didn't prevent the material from touching my skin.

Great shoe!!
I ordered a 1/2 size up in this shoe due to wider feet and that helped a lot- these shoes provide a lot of support on the top of the foot as they are stealth fit version. These shoes are comfortable and provide some spring back into the step. I wear them for working, walking and disc golf. I own the ghost max 1 as well- the ghost max 1 have more cushion and less spring. I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for a great balance between a spring and cushion and like form fitting tight shoe. I also enjoy that the fabric since it is form fitting is quicker to dry! If you don’t like the tight feeling on the top of the shoe, I’d go with the the regular glycerines. If you want more cushion and less spring, the ghost max are better!

Comfort and style
Beyond comfortable. I on average walk 8-10 miles a day on my shifts and my feet never hurt with these! So good I bought two same pairs about to order my 3rd so I have my back up once I go through the last pair I bought.

Run a little small
I nornally wear 7.5 however I ordered these in 8. They are slightly tight. I don't like the cushion in the back of the heel it rubs and may cause a blister. I'm trying only a couple of hours a day. Still trying to get used to them. I do find the laces are short, thin and and cheap looking. I may replace them with a white pair I buy elsewhere. For that price they should not be cheap. I do find the soles cushy comfy. I'm hoping they will cushion my osteoarthritis of my knee.

Best shoes ever for Plantar Fasc!
I have been wearing Brooks and Asics for years. I have a reconstructed and arthritic ankle, plus plantar fascitis. I am in almost constant pain. I have been wearing Ghost 14 the past year. I use green superfeet insoles and get decent support and comfort. I noticed at the end of the life of my Ghost 14's that I had increased supination which was really annoying the top muscles of my feet. I did a deep dive into finding the best shoes for both plantar fasc and supination. I landed on the Glycerin Stealth Fit 20. I read hundreds of reviews. Let me say - I LOVE THESE SHOES. Max cushion and comfort! The stealth fit is where it is at if you have supination. Keeps foot steady. I think I am just going to buy a pair every month or so and keep myself stocked for the rest of my life. This is the best Brooks product I have had in over 15 years of buying Ghosts. Great job, Brooks.
