Good value for money
Really happy with this for the price. I know it isnt a genuine Foredom, but it's good for the money and I cant afford the real thing. Does everything I need so far. No probs with the foot pedal like some have mentioned. I find it really easy to use.

Faulty and dangerous
I have only used this for 2 weeks - the first week went fine, but today while using the machine, the shaft suddenly detached itself whilst the motor was still going!! Smoke was coming out of the motor unit and during the incident my finger got hurt. The burr that I was using got bent too during the process (see photo!) and it could have been a far worse incident had someone in the workshop not turned the mains power off in time. I have owned 2 other Foredom pendant motors before this, in the same model, which have been going for 2 years+ without issue, always trusted the brand for its quality and durability which is why I keep buying them. I don’t know if this is a one off fault but it is a very dangerous fault that must stem from defective parts within the machine and it needs to be properly addressed. Needless to say I am returning this and I expect a full refund.

Good strong machine
I was always buying dremel and as I use them a lot wanted a stronger motor. Thought I would give it a try and am very pleased the foot pedal took a little getting used to but other than that it is a very capable machine. I mainly use it to grind metal parts for fittings to be mounted but have also used it to rasp wood to shape

Husband very happy!
This was bought as his last one gave up the ghost and with Christmas we needed something soon. Its price made me hesitate as we knew these are normally more expensive but assuming this is a copy (?) its really really good. Its heavy sturdy. So far there has been no problems with it and the husband is impressed.

Back to front
Works great, just need to ignore the reverse and forward stickers as they are the wrong way round. Probably why alot of people are finding the Flexi shaft breaking as they are designed to be used mainly in one direction. Easy to work out if you have a carbide bit as they only work in one direction. If you have it facing towards you anticlockwise, and when your using it clockwise, I know that sounds odd but can't think of a better way to describe it.

Excellent value for money
I was a bit dubious about this as the price is a little too good, but went with the other feedback and having just put it together and used it, yes it really is excellent for the price. Who knows how long it will last but it looks and feels just like the Foredom I've used before so I am hopeful.
