Yes but it's really to stop heat getting in

Haven't tried any lever arch files but I would estimate 2 if they are full or 3 if they are not full

Yes, but it is designed more for A4 or Foolscap. The bag is 17 x 12 x 5 inches and A5 paper is approximately 5.8 x 8.3 inches. So A5 would not fit front to back, but you could put two side by side.

Q: Is this product water resistant?

There is nothing on it that says water resistant, put anything valuable in a plastic bag, before you place it in the fireproof bag,that should keep it from any water damage.
