do you think that this would be suitable to paint on lead flashing that has some rust marks ?

Hello there. First things first. I've looked on the Hammerite web site and can find nothing on there that says it can or indeed cannot be applied to lead. Not very helpful I know. However, lead oxidises to a light grey or white colour rather than rusts. If your flashing has a normal brown rust discolouration, it's likely it is zinc or a base metal zinc - plated product rather than lead. I used my Hammerite as a primer and undercoat on a steel tractor wheel. This product is quite a thick paint and covers very well, even over light rust. Loose rust must be wire brushed off first though. It normally calls for a protective top coat, in my case for example, this was a car type paint in an aerosol can. Without seeing your flashing problem it is difficult to properly advise you. But I would start with properly identifying what material your flashing is and go from there. I hope this helps even though it is not perhaps the definitive advice you were hoping for.

I wouldn’t know but I wouldn’t think it would make a lot of difference

can this be used for an oil tank?

I used this for a diesel tank and there was no reaction. I don’t know if petrol would cause it to pucker or peel. But it has held the rust at bay on my 1995 shogun fuel tank for 3 years now. It is heavy duty stuff and I would highly recommend it

Would this be suitable to paint metal tile trims in a wet-room?

This will depend on what kind of metal the trim,s are made of ?ordinary steel would be ok -is the metal rusted or showing sign,s of rust this would have to be cleaned as best you could get it .then apply rust converter then this anti rust paint then on to a finish paint silver or whatever ..if the trim,s are made of stainless steel or anodised aliminuim you would need tu start with special paint primer for non-ferrous metals then this could be used and then a finish paint again of your colour....
