9 Pack Chain Link Fence Extension, 25" Fence Extension Height, Galvanized Post Extender for Dogs (1-3/8",Silver)

We recently rescued a puppy and added her to our pack. Well, as she grew up we found out she was a jumper, and our fences were no match for her leaping ability. We added these to our chain link fence with some pasture fencing strung between the poles and problem solved. The additional height is more than enough to keep "Lucy" in the yard. Doesn't look bad as the extensions look like they belong on a chain link fence. Tighten these to the top rail of your chain link and it works fine. Be careful that after you install these you can turn the top rail of your chain link fence by pulling on these. Once you have installed the actual additional fencing, turning will not be an issue. We did use metal pull-ties to attach fencing to this pols.

Last year, our family adopted our Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler) mix, Bailey. Bailey is a high energy dog and loves to run and play with her neighbor friends. Last year, she was only 5 months old when a neighbor messaged me that she had gotten out of our fence while I was at the hospital with my mom who just had surgery.I had assumed she dug out, until I got home and she happily showed me how she could jump and use the top of the chain-link fence to hop over it; we have never had a dog who jumped our fence before. Luckily for us, her entire goal was to go see her friends next door and then go to the porch to look for us, but clearly we can't let her run free and risk getting hit by a car or worse.We are unable to build a taller fence or buy a privacy fence at this time, therefore we were looking for alternative solutions and we came across these posts.I installed one entire side (1 pack of 9 posts) quite easily and quickly in about 30 minutes back in May and then we ordered an additional set to do the other side in July. So far, both sets are holding nice and tight and look rather nice to be an addition to the chain-link.We used chicken wire and metallic zip ties to go between the posts. So far, Bailey has been confined to her backyard with our other dog (much to her displeasure) but much to our relief that we don't have to worry if she's going to get out.If you have a jumper like us and need to contain them, at an affordable price, with easy installation, I highly recommend trying these posts.

Bought a new house with a 3 foot high fence. I have an escape artist. These were def better solution than installing a new fence. I used these with black fencing mesh - looks pretty much invisible.

This is what finally keep my dog in the yard! Electric fence and the Halo collar didn't work. We tired everything over the last couple years. She jumped out constantly and her brother would follow, even though he only had 3 legs due to an accident they had when they escaped last year.We put this up angled into our yard, like a prison fence, with wire mesh from Home Depot on top and they're finally staying in the yard.

I have a short fence and my dogs would jump onto it so we felt a higher fence was needed. This was a much cheaper and still effective way to raise my fence. They were easy to instal and work great

This doesn’t fit standard fence posts? Maybe this works for people that buy their own product from a department store but not people that have their original fence installed professionally. I’m very disappointed spending several hours on trying to make this work with the fence I already connected for install. I’ll be returning tomorrow.

Seems to be holding up really good I have had a few storms with some big winds in my area and they have held up great

I got this today, cannot wait to try it out. It worked perfect for my purpose. It fits well to the fence rail, it will not swing left and right because it fits so tight to the rail, but it can still swing up and down, luckily I figured out a way to tight it to the fence, the design of Bolts is genius with square shape so it will not move one side, you just need to tight up the other side, unfortunately I received a damaged package, some bolts and nuts are missing, I hope they will send to me. Overall, I am really happy with this product. I had tried similar products, they just couldn’t stay sturdy, some are not even square shape, so you cannot fit them perfectly to the rail no matter how much you tighten them up. I am glad I found this one, thank you.
