Looks great and the birds love it, too!
This metal feeder is fairly sturdy and birdseed doesn't become saturated by rain or snow. Because of wildlife in my area, feeders come in at night which means when set on a flat surface, the top half will lower over the bottom half,. The feeder's only fully extended when hung, so this means I can only fill it half way at a time unless I hang it somewhere inside overnight. But this also means that to fill it all the way, you'd want to do so when it's hanging. Otherwise if set on a flat surface, you'd need to lift the top half and hold in place while filling. This can be tricky for sure and others have mentioned it. The roof can be easily removed to the side by pressing in the plastic "lock" on the wire to lift the lock and slide the roof over, opening the top so you can fill. Overall I'm very happy with this feeder and the metal will tolerate our extreme Colorado weather better than some of the plastic feeders used in the past.

Nice little feeder, but spills through the sides
This is a good feeder, but the seed falls easily through the sides, so when you’re filling it up some is spilling out onto the ground. It’s not a huge enough problem that I can’t use it, or want to return it, but it was surprising. It’s probably about a handful of my mix that I lose each time I fill it. The birds and squirrels clean up most of it, but I’ve got some random stuff growing under there now, which is pretty interesting.

Truly Enjoyable
I wanted a bird feeder that was easy to fill with enough room to accommodate several small birds. And this fits the bill. Every morning I see finches, sparrows, blue jays and pigeons (those fat, pesky, ravenous pigeons) among others that I’m not familiar with, either feeding or waiting on the fence to get their turn. If anyone knows a trick to keeping the pigeons out please let me know. This feeder can accommodate three of them & it leaves no room for the smaller birds. They keep this up & they’re going to look like small turkeys.Regardless, sturdy, easy to fill & clean. Highly recommended.

Birdfeeder collapses from large to small. The Top of Birdfeeder stays not on tight...
I like, that my somewhat larger Birds(Cardinals)have room to perch. The Birdfeeder looks very pretty,Why it can move from larger load to smaller load????It would be better have it one size. I can adjust filling it ....But overall a nice Birdfeeder.Would give it 5 stars if it was not collapsing.

Bird love it!
I love this feeder. Multiple birds can be on it together. Cardinals, chickadees, woodpeckers, blue birds, wrens and many others use this every day. I have seed mixed with dried meal worms in it. I will upload a photo as soon as I figure out how. Lol

Squirrel Feeder
This should be called a squirrel feeder, not squirrel proof at all. Since hanging, I have seen birds on it twice. Squirrels are on it all day long.Waste of money.

Pretty patterned roof
I employ over 25 bird feeders of all types and sizes. Bought this one due to larger size, somewhat copper color, and patterned roof design. Well made and should hold up over our brutal winters. Larger drainage holes which I appreciate.

The metal feeder should survive the birds pecking!
I had to replace several bird feeders because the perches either wouldn't stay in or the birds would peck at the cup around the opening to get at the seed (some birds were okay with the cups as they were able to get at the seed in the cups easily, but I suspect the woodpeckers were not happy with that design!). Also the opening in the metal screen around the feeder allows smaller seed to fall out, but not that much seed is lost (and the ground feeders will appreciate the extra seed). Larger seed like sunflower seed doesn't fall through the screen. Overall, the best bird feeder I've had so far and it has survived the birds and the weather after several weeks.
