Despite the reviews stating quality issues, I chose this option over no-name Amazon brands, to support a U.S. based company.As we were setting it up for the very first time, the buckle for the strap on the side snapped clean in half.That said, the rest of the cover is good quality. Nice insulation and fits our 100 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank perfectly.We will keep it and use our own ratchet strap to secure it to the tub (which we may have wanted to do anyway) - and keep it from going to landfill.However, a plea for the manufacturer - PLEASE add a better quality buckle to this product, and it would be an absolute slam dunk!

I bought this companies soft cover last year. I wasn't particularly crazy about it yet it was effective at keeping my cold plunger relatively clean. I had my cold plunger inside my garage yet I had to move it outside as I needed the space. It is very windy where I live and the soft cover was no longer serving its purpose, at least not effectively.I started looking around for a more secure and hard cover alternative. Then I found this cover. All I can say is WOW! This hard cover truly is a amazing. It's been even more windier than usual and this cover has held extremely well. The pictures do not do it justice. You can definitely appreciate the high quality once you receive the item. At $199 it is a great price. Especially when the similar alternatives out there cost over 30% more. This cover provides a "6-point attachment system with hooks and tightening buckles." The alternatives out there only provide 4. Those 6 hooks truly make a world of difference (the cover does not move at all).I do wish the outer material was more like a PVC-type of material. I feel that would held better over time than the current material. Yet only time will tell. Needless to say, for $199 I am extremely pleased with this product, at least so far. Thank you for making such a great product that is reasonably priced given the quality.

I was skeptical that it would work despite reading the reviews. I thought I had 150 gallon tank but it's only 100 so the cover is too big but I duct taped it to the tank. I have struggled with different ways to keep my remotely placed tank ice free. We just went through several days where the high temps never went above freezing and my horses had water through it all. I couldn't be happier. Some ice does form but it's not bad. The best money I've ever spent.

Says it’s for a 100 gallon Rubbermaid but it’s too small and constantly falls into the tub.

I purchased this cover originally because it had two handles on it so I could uncover the top very easily and hang it to dry if necessary. I really like the buckle on the side that allows you to tighten the top on. I do wish there was one on both sides.The cord that goes throughout the entire base that only tightens at one end does make it challenging to keep the other end tight but the buckle compensates for that some. The areas the buckle apparatus is stitched on does need reinforcement and where the cord tightens in is somewhat frail. The grommet broke out after the first couple times of covering an uncovering but it works alright without it.
