It Works!
I set up an infrared trailcam to try and catch a suspected mouse in action. Found the little critter (he's fast!). Set up Fabuta the first night it came, no luck. Noticed from the night time video captures that mouse likes to travel next to walls or protected areas, so re-arranged placement of bucket on a chair to make height of fabuta trap equal to end of counter pretty close to wall. Worked like a charm. Little guy roamed around counter all night, then around 7:00am, plop. We left a wad of cotton balls to soften the fall and a tiny cap of water in the bottom of bucket to keep the little fella busy and hydrated til we got up to find him (her?) looking up at us from the bottom of the bucket. Free meals days are done, it's catch and release today back to the forest where he can fend for himself. A few very very small crumbs trailed along the edge, then a big piece of stale bread right on the end of the gang-plank. Since we knew the critter was extra small (maybe 1.5" long, that's it), we counter-balanced the plank with bits of carrot and apple so it was a bit under hair-trigger balance. Was hoping to actually catch the capture on camera in mid-fall, but it was so fast, all we got was one frame of lead-up to the edge and then, gone from view. keeping this trap handy in case there are more in the family (though I found the nest in the basement today under a pile of wires and it looks like a single so far).

I love it. Simple VERY effective multi catch trap
Caught a mouse the first night in my garage. I put peanut butter on edge of diving board. And put micro-small "smell" spots on board (not included to ramp from floor to trap) ever 4 inches up that I used as ramp to trap. Used 4" of water in bucket to "soften" mouse's fall , he didn't survive though. ;(. Note there is no adjustment screw on this device. If you want to have them survive and not jump out make sure your bucket is at least 20" deep from the diving board. Second night I caught two more mice. Total catch for trap is four to date. I think I caught them all. Best to calibrate the drop by putting two quarters on the plank and moving toward the middle... if it drops just past the center line it is perfect. If not you might have to adjust the by putting a little more peanut butter on end.

Worth the money! Have a couple tips for you
I have to say we love this trap. It works really well and i don't have the constant worry of my cat getting into poison. There are a couple note worthy things. Firstly its best to tighten the tension screw all the way down. Secondly if you're using it inside, it's a big help to pay attention to the routes mice like to take. I don't know about other's mice, but our country bumpkins always follow the same exact paths just like ants. We had a lot of success when we used them in the path than when we randomly put the buckets around. It just takes some patience. I was quite impressed that the seller reached out to me specifically to see it was delivered correctly. And willingly took time for side conversation. We are impressed and have already suggested it to others. We have seen quite an improvement with the mouse population in the house.

Doesn’t work, mice outsmart it!
The device looks nice, easy to setup and it’s a brilliant idea ( so I thought ). But just doesn’t work! I set it up in the kitchen for 5 nights in a row. Night after night, I saw the mouse came and got on the ramp, but it just won’t get on the plank or it got on but won’t go far to touch the peanut butter at the end. To lure it, I even put some peanut butter on the ramp, they got licked clean so I know it likes them. So frustrating! It’s either I’ve got an Einstein mouse living in my house or this device underestimates mice’s intelligence.

Works But fell apart already
I liked the fact that it was easy to set up. I got 2 of these on August 19th. Worked great until now. Falling apart Both of them. Wear the moving plank is attached to the unit both separated. and they are useless . I'm hoping I can fix them. Great Idea, Came Fast, Works well! Just didn't last unfortunately

Solid Oak (updated)
Ok I just got the trap and have set up a bucket with water and a little soap. I put peanut butter on top and the bottom End of the plank. Now I wait. I love the instructions, the little mouse in the last bucket is gave me a chuckle . This trap is well built, solid oak, just for this i will start out with 5 stars. I will update this review after I have a bucket full of mice.Ok I have had the FABU Walk the plank mouse trap for a couple weeks. This is the best trap ever. We saw 2 mice in the bucket but when I poured the water out there was 4 mice. I will always have at least one of the Walk the plank traps set up. I am going to order 2 more right now. If you can’t tell I am extremely happy right now. There aren’t too many products out there that actually live up to what they say they will do. We live next to two wide open fields so mice and gophers are always a problem. For gophers use the Cinch trap. For both of these products they are invaluable. I give them 3x5 stars each.

Great idea, bad quality product.
I have received the package very quick and I already tried it, unfortunately the result was just few small footprints on the plank, nothing in the water bucket, the trap did not work. At closer inspection I realize why it didn't work: the wood around the plexiglass/plank was too tight and the magnet on the bottom of the wait too strong or the screw too close to the magnet. I have worked a little bit to fix those problems. Straight out of the box this trap works for rats or big big mice. Great idea, bad workmanship. This product is worth about $3 to $5.P.S.After the adjustments/repairs I caught 3 mice in 2 nights, so the idea is great.Make sure to inspect the product and put a very light wait (<0.50 oz)on the plank to make sure that will trip a small mouse ( if that's what you are hunting for).
