Colour is very dark
Colour in this is darker than my wifes usual brown no.4, but I think in a better way as it looks more natural.

For a box of dye that costs $3, this does a fantastic job. I have been exclusively using Revlon Colorsilk Brown Black for several years now. I get the same result that I got spending $80 to get a brown glaze on my hair. That being said, I took off one star because the gloves and the conditioner are not the greatest. However, that's an easy fix; I bought a box of gloves and a tub of neutrogena hair mask, and my hair ends up better than ever after I color it. It covers my grays decently, and I only need to leave it on for ten minutes to get the results that I need.

Purchased the Dark Brown...which was quite natural looking for me. Covered gray....for about 3 weeks. I was hoping for 6 weeks.....but no luck. Red highlights began to appear after 4 weeks. Price was reasonable.

Most beautiful color I've ever used and even better, it covers my gray! I've used tons of other brands and within a few days, the gray hair on my temples and widows peak already shows, which is frustrating. However, I haven't had that problem with this brand. An added bonus is my hair is soft and super shiny after use and continues to look beautiful until I have to re-color, about 3-4 weeks to color new growth.

Colors can vary slightly. Some boxes are super dark and some are the proper dark brown. Overall, I love this brand and color. Great grey coverage, because, yeah, I have a lot of greys.
