Works for '05 Crossfire key fob.
Works for my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire. Swapping the key and board over from the old was a pain, but no because of this case. The factory case was more difficult to take apart than this one. Remember to twist the key spring before putting it all back together so the key will pop out correctly after reassembly. I am ordering a second for my spare.

Junk
These things are junk, they fall apart, they don't stop closed correctly. There isn't much else for options so you are stuck with it anyway if you need something quick when the most recent one you purchased falls apart and you lose all the pieces.

Like brand new again!
My OEM Mercedes key fob was really showing its age, so this was a great fix. I moved the key and electronics to this new shell, and it looks so much better! I had a little trouble with the button that came with the new shell - it didn't seem to align perfectly with my key so I ended up reusing my old button, but no big deal. Here's a tip: Don't forget to move your transponder to the new shell or else the car won't start. Note that the transponder is a separate component from the circuit board and it's easy to miss. It's a tiny black box inside the shell near the base of the metal key. Also, this shell doesn't include the Mercedes logo, so I ordered that separately as a nice finishing touch. It hasn't arrived yet so my photos are without it.

Nice case; no instructions
Case arrived in the mail quickly - but there were no instructions included on how to safely disassemble it. I managed to get mine apart and swap the parts from my old key, however, I nearly ruined the case separating it from hidden tabs. 3/5 stars.

Pretty good
This worked pretty well. A couple of notes: Remember to move over the little black chip from inside the previous key. Also, the blade does not lock open very well, but otherwise, it's pretty good.

Shouldn't be this hard to open
This item is so hard to get apart! You could break it just trying. I'm not too happy at this point! I'm afraid of breaking it!
