Work amazingly well to lift the harbor freight case lids. Pressure is just enough to hold lid with a set of traction boards on it. It does require aid to lift with the boards. No boards it lifts perfectly with only 1 strut per case. Fitment is great just make sure you get the mounting points right.

The struts in a truck cargo box were bad. I added these, and the box lids stayed up. Worked as expected.

No one dislikes about the product. The shocks are awesome. They work really well and they're strong, and the price is right

Working great on my tool box

Fit as described sort of ... I had to remove the provided end cap and use the OEM end but the threads are the same so they were easily exchanged. Once the old end caps were on it fit exactly as described and worked to prop the safe door open quickly. We'll see how long they last. For now, good value, and good fit.

Used if for a rifle box I bought to mount to my roof rack. The strut itself is great, the mounting brackets are weak and bend pretty easily.

This product will work for your sentry floor safe. BUT you must unscrew the existing ends of the original Sentry gas strut and remove the spring. Remove the ends on the new Arana strut, put the spring on and reassemble using the old attachment ends. Put the bottom pin in first and then snap into place. Worked great. FYI I ordered 'other brands' an Amazon that said it was a replacement but they didn't work. If need be the rods can also be swapped out on the existing and new gas strut.
