As a remote marketing professional in the technology field, my days are filled with a constant stream of Zoom meetings, webinars, and virtual collaborations. Variable-Light Performance: The Center Cam works well in high- or low-light conditions. The deluxe package includes a small but effective ring-light, which has been a great tool. And as an added bonus (as a Mac user) it is compatible with iGlasses webcam software. The end result is that, whether it's early morning or late evening, I look well-lit and clear on camera.4. Plug-and-Play Setup: Setting up the Center Cam was a breeze. It's truly a plug-and-play device. Within minutes, I was ready to hop onto my Zoom calls without any technical hiccups.5. Simple design and placement flexibility: Perhaps this should be #1, but the ability to have the webcam in the middle of my monitor is absolutely fantastic. No more Zoom meetings where I’m looking above the camera, below the camera, or out to left field. And the Center Cam’s footprint is so small, I often don’t even move it between meetings (case in point, it is in the middle of my monitor even as I type this).6. Reliable Connectivity: I haven't experienced any connectivity issues with the Center Cam. It maintains a stable connection throughout my meetings.7. Compatibility: I’ve only used the Center Cam with Zoom and FaceTime but the experience has been flawless and seamless with both.8. Affordable Price: Considering the features it offers, the Center Cam is competitively priced. It's a smart investment for anyone working remotely or engaging in virtual meetings regularly.9. Portable: The Center Cam deluxe kit comes with a travel bag that holds the camera and ring light, making it extremely easy to take this webcam on the road. (I saw a review that said all the components don't fit; they do, although the ring light clamp does make it a tight fit).In conclusion, the Center Cam has been a very welcome addition for my work-from-home setup. After 2 months of tinkering, I can't reliably get a natural looking picture. Looks oversaturated and washed out, but using image correction utilities still didn't work for a consistent quality image. Tried dedicated lightening and a darkened room too.The concept is spot-on for connecting to clients and presenting in group Zoom meetings, and it feels like a solid product. I want to use it but not at the expense of looking like I have the cheapest webcam of the brady bunch. Unfortunately, it's too late for me to return, so it will just stay in my drawer.

I watched the Center Cam through its development with great anticipation and it has met my expectations! I am happy to have the little case to store all of the components safely and nearby, since I use it several times a week but not all day. I have been very happy with the quality of the camera itself and each of its supporting parts, so when v.2 comes out shortly, I’ll keep being happy with the Center Cam I have.It is so natural when using Zoom or similar platforms to look into the faces on the screen and talk directly to them. At the same time, I can look at whatever I’m screen sharing and keep eye contact with my audience. Because the camera is so mobile it can be placed anywhere around the screen so there’s a lot of flexibility built in. What’s not to love?

This camera is great. As a camera, in the center of your screen, it is perfect. Absolutely no complaints. If you need something to help you focus on your calls and make it look like you're looking directly at the camera, this is the product for sure.The "problems" that I have with it are minor and are as follows:1. if you plan to connect this to an external monitor, especially a curved monitor, the clips that come with the product will not work. You need to buy a special clip from their website because it isn't sold on amazon.2. everything that comes with the deluxe package does NOT fit in the bag that it comes with, which I think is silly. Again, not a big issue, just have to use a different bag3. The camera in the center of the screen is wonderful during a call, but since I'm connecting to a monitor, and don't plan to take the camera on and off all day, it's annoying to have it in the middle of the screen not during a call. It's not easy to fold back out of the way, and that may be because I'm using a random clip right now since it doesn't fit on the monitor. If this greatly improves when I get the additional clip from point 1, I will update this review.

It does what it is supposed to do...center the camera in your screen so you can look directly into the camera and establish eye contact. This is tremendous! I'm feel more comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera as well. It is very comfortable.Unfortunately, as others have mentioned the actual camera is poor quality. Lots of highlights and blown out areas with the image, that I am unable to adjust and remove. But it does the job. This is the main reason why I gave 3 stars.I will use this for now, and look for another product with a better camera.Another reason is that the carrying case that you get with the premium package does not fit the ring light. The ring light works and will be handy when I go to my office downtown, but I'm going to need to get another case to carry the camera, attachments and ring light. Sigh. Why include a carrying case that doesn't fit all the parts of the product??Another thing I will be looking out for is a more refined design. the goose neck arm of the camera is a little clunky, takes a minute to get used to.All in all I would say this camera is adequate but not stellar. I will look for other products in the area and replace this as soon as I find something better. But it does what it is supposed to do, and now that I can look someone directly in the eye on a video screen, I will never go back to the old way.
