I checked the research on taurine supplementation and it seemed worth trying. This bag will last you 200 days @ 5g a day. I sleep like a log. Note that taurine, although an ingredient in energy drinks, is not a stimulant. This is my second order. One point to note. It was going down much quicker than I anticipated. I then weighed the amount scooped up in the included scoop - 10g. Three times their recommendation, twice what I wanted. Do NOT use the included scoop. Use proper measuring spoons.

Much cheaper to buy in bulk. Has bitter taste but not noticeable when mixed with Mango juice. Touted as a super supplement, good for bodybuilders' cutting phase as it opens mTOR pathways without food. Watch out for the weevils, though. They only live on the surface so just scoop around and underneath them. You'll be fine!

As us men age, there is a reduction in Taurine levels which have many benefits. This supplement is tasteless and easy to mix in with oats, tea, smoothies and more. I feel great and hope you notice the difference as well. Great pre and during exercise supplement but beneficial any time of the day. Highly recommended.

Taurine is something that helps me sleep like a baby, 2-4g before bed, and it’s great. Before buying from here it has been hit and miss with other companies. They have won me over as a dedicated customer, (their Theanine and B3 pouches are great) will be returning!!!

The first time I used it I took a teaspoon full, I was in agony all night with sore bowels and had Diarrhea. I did some research and this is a thing, So I only take the tip of a tea spoon now which is less than the recommended dose. I take it at bed time and it does make me feel really tired. But I always wake up feeling very loose. Not sure if its just that I'm not tolerant to Taurine or its a normal side effect? I read online that experiments with mice found it make them have Diarrhea, so I'm guessing its not just me...

Only just started taking this but the key points are: Sleep: definitely noticed a sedative effect. I started feeling sleepy a couple of hours before I usually would after taking 3g in water. Taste: neutral in water. I expected it to be bitter but I really couldn't taste anything. Bonus Tips I'd have given this product 5 stars if it came with a scoop to measure how much you're getting but as it doesn't, I thought it would be helpful to let you know that 3g = 3 quarters of a teaspoon. The powder doesn't dissolve straight away, I made mine in a cocktail shaker.
