This was a great gift. I got this set for my husband for Christmas. My parents bought him a citadel paint set, the paint from these are more pigmented, they cover cleanly and with fewer coats. The mini quality was also great. The paints come with a couple bbs in the bottle, for easy mixing. Very affordable for this type of hobby kit.

The selection of Paints in its Interior is Wide and the more opportunities it offers are appreciated. The extras are very good, both the Mini to practice and the Support Brushes

Overall this is a good paint set for a decent value, beginner hobbyists and up will find many uses from this set. I consider myself an intermediate painter, and I personally bought this because I really like the look of the troll model, as well as the included paint color scheme. Would I recommend this for someone who has never painted before? Not quite, you will need some type of snips to cut the model from the sprue, possibly a paint pallete and maybe glue or model putty to fill the gaps. The model included is awesome, not the most detailed (easier to paint for beginners) but simple to assemble.What's included -20 x 12ml paints1 x troll model1 x base-coat brush1 x Lore/instruction manualThere are no instructions for assembly, it is very straightforward as the pieces are numbered on the sprue, and everything is push fit. I used glue and a little putty to fill the smaller gaps and I filed down some mold lines too. Instructions for painting is VERY basic, it's not a how to guide, instead it shows where to lay colors and that's about it. I was a little disappointed with the paint instructions. The instructions show two paints used that are not included in the set as well. The paints included range from average to good quality. I tried every color and the only paint I really didn't like was the silver. It was tough to get good coverage with silver and the paint rubbed off when I applied the wash. The brush included is great, with proper usage and care it will last a while. I used my own detail brush for the smaller things on the model.Honestly my main gripe about this set is that there are two different troll models shown in the advertising. The troll that is advertised is shown with a slightly different pose and paint scheme (lighter green). The instructions included doesn't tell you how to achieve the paint scheme shown in the advertising. I'm sure an advanced painter could easily achieve that, but to a lesser skilled painter a nice guide would've been nice. I did paint my model to the style shown in the included instructions (picture included), I like the scheme and I am happy with it.

I absolutely love this brand of paints. The colors are so vibrant. So although they can be a little spendy per bottle, you won't need another bottle for a long time. Definitely worth the price. The quality of these paints are excellent. They can need a little thinning out becsuse if you dont take your time it can become a little textured, but that's definitely do able. You typically only need one coat to get the job done. They dry quickly so you can add different colors easily. Blending is something I haven't mastered but what I can tell, a veteran would be able to do this easily. The coverage is amazing. You typically don't need more than one coat so, bonus.

My order came in two days, with almost no damage to the box, not that I care, the box is there to get the stuff inside to you without damage. It was unopened, with the free dipitz brush attached to the outside! They are full 18ml bottles and the colors are amazing. The seller 316 did a great job, and I'll be looking for them when I shop in the future.

The product is not twenty smaller bottles, and the color chart doesn't match what's in the box. Paint is fine. I did purchase it based on the chart colors though and they are wrong as well.
