this camera works really well for what we use it for. it does on occasion shut itself off which can be annoying but when it does if you unplug the camera and restart it, it usually doesnt do it for a long time. the night vision is really good if you get a good camera. we had to return one because it was really grainy but the other one is crystal clear. you cannot record sound to your phone which is the only real downfall of this camera. which i do not understand since you can hear on it and you can talk to others on it but it doesnt record the sound it hears. i only give it 4 stars because of that one feature.

video quality 7-8 out a 10motion of camera is very very very slow i wouldnt recommend this product there is better out there.. trust me not worth the $$

Reboots itself about 10 times a day and when it does it never goes back to its set home position. Every time I check in I have to use a preset to get it back to its home position first.

We like these cameras because we can access them over Wi-Fi when we aren’t home however we haven’t been able to successfully get any type of motion detection to work on them. It’s nice to be able to pan the cameras left and right and up and down to check things out. Also the ability to speak through the camera is nice.

With all these crap reviews about the camera and the app, I think I might have gotten lucky with a good one? Maybe they made improvements or something because It works pretty good for the price. The camera functions just fine with the Pyle app. I hooked it up using an Ethernet cord, which eliminated half the review complaints. I can access the camera from work or even on the road with 4g LTE (My phone). Like I said, maybe I got lucky, but no complaints on my end.

I was unable to get email to trigger and send; nothing sent to local memory card either. Numerous requests for support acknowledged but questions unanswered. I have other make security cameras which all send triggered events to my email. The reason for 2 stars is that the picture can be viewed live, even remotely.

Cam endured 100+ attic temperatures for 4 years.Good, clear visuals.Motion detection never worked and it was a challenge to establish wireless connection.

Needed this to keep eye on my elderly Momma. We have ave not been able to get it connected, even had a tech guy come and he was unsuccessful
