Toasty.
In New York the winters last 6 months. So I did extensive research on Good Thermals. This was the 2nd rated one. the 1st rated was Minus 33 Merino Wool Thermals and are above my price range. These still suited my needs. They kept me warm while waking to work in 20 degree weather. They are not very durable though. Got a couple tears along the elastic but just restitched them. Besides that I would recomend them to friends and family.

small
At a slender 6 ft tall I bought the large since that's what I would normally wear. Upon receiving, the first thing I did was try them on. Much to my dismay they were definitely too small, my ankles were exposed and I couldn't pull them up enough to even cover my butt. I had to buy another pair from a different company and am much happier with my second purchase. They are kinda thin so I'm not sure how warm they would keep you. Rothco should put a size chart on the item to give their customers a better idea of the size to buy considering you can't return them once you've tried them on.

Works in -40F weather
My husband bought these polypropylene bottoms to wear during winters in Kazakhstan. We have now been out in weather that hits -40 F and they work just find to help keep his legs warm. He does need extra to help for the wind, but these pants do what they are designed for. They also seem to fit very well under jeans without being bulky.

Wil have to order more of these
I had read the reviews prior to my purchase. I was not disappointed. They arrived quickly and worked well in the 20 degree high windy conditions out doors. They are still pretty new, so I have to see how they hold up. But the main task of keeping me warm, out side, when it is windy works well. I recommend them.

Great for staying dry
5'9" 150, Medium fits perfectly, maybe a little tight around the calf area. I love the wicking properties of these underwear. While I do not see it keeping you very warm on its own, it allows you to layer without worrying about sweat. My only use so far was at a football game where it rained for all 4 quarters, and I was wearing a plastic poncho, I never noticed any sweat or dampness where I was covered with polypropylene. I spilled beer on my shoe and after 5 minutes I forgot it happened, my polypropylene socks repelled the beer from my feet. Amazing stuff, new go to game day gear.

Nice, should be longer in the back end for the bottoms.
I gave 3 stars because, the only con is; the bottoms were fine in length, but the back is way too short. they keep sliding down. Not comfortable because of this. The top was fine and they worked good as a base layer.I only have them a couple of weeks so I'm not sure how they will hold up after washing.so far I'm pleased except for the back not cut properly6'3, 240 lbs. purchased the XL.

Nice surprise
Gave one of these sets to my nephew for Christmas. He says, although not wind proof while he rides his motorcycle to work, it was very warm afterwards and throughout the day. He loves it and it doesn't add a lot of bulk under your regular clothes.

These work great in cold and wet enviros. Get the EXTRA LARGE if you are average size.
On my 3rd try buying these, by getting the largest , they finally fit. Well, almost. I'm 6 feet but not a huge guy. I guess Asians are smaller and their idea of sizes is different. They work to keep the damp away from you.
