I recently finished the Pop Sewing Birkin Bag Kit and I’m so impressed with the results. The quality of the materials is excellent, and the kit really does come with everything you need to complete the bag, even going beyond with extras like needle grips, leather clips, etc. Even with only light sewing experience, I found the instructions easy to follow and felt more confident as I went along.The trickiest part for me was sewing the bottom of the purse to the 4 sides, but after a few tries I got the hang of it. I was also initially worried about running out of thread, but there was more than enough included (with extra left over for reinforcing). The straps seemed a little tall based on pictures I had seen in other reviews, but once assembled, they actually look great and balance the bag’s shape beautifully. I was also nervous the sides would pop out based on other reviews, but they can easily stay pushed in with some light shaping by hand!The finished bag looks very luxe, definitely not like a DIY project, and I’ve already gotten lots of compliments on it with shocked responses when I tell them I made it myself! I did have to redo the stitching in a couple of spots, especially at high-pressure points like the straps and flap, but since the kit comes with plenty of thread, it wasn’t an issue.Overall, I’d highly recommend this kit. It elevates any outfit, is fun to make, and leaves you with a bag that looks far more high-end than you’d expect from a sewing project!

I had never sewn a bag before, and this project was an absolute delight from start to finish! The kit arrived beautifully packed and neatly organized, with every piece made from exceptional quality materials. The instructions were clear and easy to follow (the video is in Chinese, but it comes with English subtitles).The leather is soft, smells wonderful, and feels luxurious. The included thread is strong and perfectly matched to the leather’s color, which made the finished bag look so professional.It took me about 8 hours to complete—longer than the estimate—but I actually loved that, because it gave me more time to enjoy the process.I’ll truly treasure this bag, not only for how beautiful it is, but because I made it myself.(I made a video review as well, if you want to see more!)

WOW! I thought this might be another "too good to be true" item, but when it arrived I was really impressed by the quality of the leather and hardwear- they are absolutely beautiful! Additionally, if you're familiar with leatherworking, it's really difficult to get clean pattern cuts, smooth edge painting, and perfectly aligned sewing holes- but this bag had it all! Those details take true quality craftsmanship. This alone made me think it was an excellent value for the money. The bag comes with an instructions page that has a QR code and if you scan that you can find the video tutorial and a full step by step pdf of written instructions. They are easy enough to follow and will keep you on the right track to fully assemble the bag and make it look good! In total, the bag took me about 3.5 hours to sew, but every stitch was worth it! Meticulous hand stitching is really what adds to the look of high quality luxury bags. The kit comes with everything you need- you dont need any additional expensive leatherworking tools. However, if you're going to make more than one bag, I would suggest getting what is called a "Leather Sewing Pony". It is absolutely not necessary, but will make it easier! Anyway, I absolutely LOVE this bag and can't wait to show it off and make more!!

This was my second PopSewing bag and I love it! It's a super classy style and the color is between a gray and a taupe...very neutral to match with anything. I added a scarf that I had and I love how it coordinated. This one was a bit harder than the first one I made, but I like a challenge! The video is really helpful and the kit comes with everything you need. For this bag, I did order some inexpensive leather glue to help secure the threads...my previous bag I used a lighter to melt the threads but I was scared I would burn it so I tried the glue for this one and it worked really well. The leather quality is great, it feels like a high end designer bag. All of the holes match up, making it a perfect fit with the pieces. I'm happy to have added this bag to my collection and will definitely be getting more!
