Garmin Forerunner 265S Running Smartwatch, Colorful AMOLED Display, Training Metrics and Recovery Insights, Black and Amp Yellow, 42 mm

I bought the Garmin Forerunner 265s for my boyfriend (now husband) for his birthday, and he absolutely loves it! The watch has a long battery life, fitness tracker and tracks sleep which is perfect for his active lifestyle. The touchscreen is responsive and easy to use, and it even allows him to send a few automatic messages, which is a great feature. He also loves the color, which looks fantastic on him. Overall, it's been an amazing gift, and he's been thrilled with it!

Updated to 5 stars! I just love this watch after using it a couple of months. I had used a different brand for a couple of years. Granted the Garmin 265s was initially more expensive. But all the stats are free. Garmin doesn't have any monthly fee to access all its features. You have to pay a monthly fee on the other brand. That quickly makes it more expensive to own. I like the way Garmin has a data rich organized daily display and weekly summary. Having the ability to customize what data appears on the watchface is awesome. To me its more convenient to have buttons assisting you in customizing what stats are important for you to have displayed on your watchface. My old watch had issues with the watch bands. Too loose and the readings suffer. A few times when I snugged it up it looked like it burned my wrist. The stock band with the 265s is much more easily adjustable and has a bit of stretch that really enhances the fit and comfort in wearing it. The little collar secures the band and it doesn't slip off. I've had no problems syncing my 265S. I had ongoing syncing issues with my last watch. The Garmin uses 3 different GPS signals to give more accurate readings. I've had no issues with it losing the GPS signal that's a nice change from my old one. Overall I just believe for my needs the Garmin 265s is really a great watch. I've updated this to 5 stars after using it a few months. Just love this watch it looks great. It's not too big. Has a beautiful display. All the data I could possibly want is captured and it is easily accessible. What a fantastic watch.

Best running watch I have ever owned- lots of features and fits great on my small wrist

After dabbling with Apple Watch, Whoop, and FitBit, we became a Garmin household this fall.. and I have zero regrets. The Forerunner series has everything I was looking for in a smart watch: sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, recovery and performance statistics, and so much more. Customizable training plans, badges and challenges, and so many other features are available in the app as well.The only downsides: I wish there was a better way to track non-running workouts. It does have tracking activities for HIIT and Strength workouts, but sometimes I do AMRAP or general conditioning-style workouts that don't fall into these categories. There's also an independent app store available which I don't exactly love, because I prefer not to have third-party apps. Lastly, the silicone band has been irritating my wrist, so we'll be switching to the nylon band soon.

While third-party options exist, it would be great to have more variety directly from Garmin.➖ Pace Alarm in Garmin Coach – I really wish there was a way to turn off the pace alarm when using Garmin Coach programs. Sometimes I just want to run without constant alerts!Final Thoughts:The Garmin Forerunner 265s is an outstanding fitness watch, especially for those with smaller wrists who still want powerful tracking features. The battery life is incredible, and it’s a huge improvement over my previous Apple Watch. If Garmin could offer more watch band choices and customizable training alerts, it would be absolutely perfect. Highly recommend for runners, athletes, and anyone looking for a reliable fitness watch!

I had a F245 that I loved, but thought it was time to upgrade. The F255M was good, but it was much too large for my 150mn wrist (yes, a big guy with a small wrist). So back it went and I bought the F265s which, it turns out, is the same size and fit as the F245. The watch watch fits great and the new features are very useful. My only criticism is that the F245m has a 20mm band and the F265s has an 18mm. I would have preferred the 20mm since it feels more secure. Charge holds well. New GPS is great. A solid purchase for me.

I’ve been using this new running watch for almost a month and I’m pretty pleased with my purchase. The battery lasts about 7-9 days after wearing it for 6-7 running sessions as well as sleep tracking for all nights with my current setting. I definitely found the daily suggested workout (mostly focused on base runnings) really helpful to improve my running speed and endurance. It comes with so many running metrics that you would find really helpful to build up your running stats. I’m 35M with relatively small wrists (160mm circumference) and Garmin FR265S fits perfectly on my left wrist. I highly recommend this watch to any runners who would like to improve their running and become a more advanced runner.
