Westland 30L No.2 John Innes Potting on Compost

This is Not John Innes. There is no sand at all in it! I’ve just finished a bag of proper (read that word in italics, please....) John Innes. (Which is why I brought more! But it was not this brand! )Loads of sand in with the mix. It was heavy and firm. Not like this dirt. This stuff is just like a normal bag of compost. I enclose two photos.One, a pot with real John Innes and the second, this horrid stuff in my hand. You can clearly see it’s just compost 😡 Not happy. I could have got double the size and two bags of normal compost for the price of this literal rubbish! Where’s John Innes quality gone??😡😡 Why are loads of brands claiming to sell Innes and giving out rubbish??

The compost is as I wanted, I did think there was no need for the double packaging, The address label could have been displayed on the original bag.! It was packed in a sack and I cardboard with plastic cord around it!,

It's OK. I have used the wetland 2 and 3 now. Does the job, sets hard though you need to work it a lot. Tbf I have found cheaper multipurpose compost that give the same results.

This compost arrived on time and it is so good that it can be ordered online. It is heavier than potting compost so delivery for me is essential. A very good product to put into pots that have shrubs in as it has more substance and nutrients. Would buy again.

Poor value for money. Very overpriced.

Good quality compost mix. Price could be better. Packaging was damaged and was resealed by the courier so lost some of the compost.

To repot some plants dont like the mixture looks like mud when i water the plants water just sits ontop
