Fae Farm (Nintendo Switch)

I am playing Fae Farm like a lot of others for yhe 1st time. I read as many reviews as i could about it and the game was truly advertised as something magical. I concur!! The graphics are stunning, the lovely soft track playing in the game make an exquisite & relaxing local to enjoy. I believe it is going to be quite the adventure, as there is so much detail, items, tasks etc to do....this is no walk in the park, but what a glorious place to spend some time, relax and forget about the apres Covid World we inhabit for real, somewhere to escape to.....yes please!! The controls are reasonably straight forward, i did find a few little problems, but found a double click works wonders. I wanted to let everyone know, who really was looking forward to this game as i was, the reviews are spot on. If you like this Sim kind of game, with a bit extra,grab it, i am sure you won't regret it. Can be played safely by children - younger than 10, though may be a little difficult for them- and obviously suitable for us older gamers. Well worth a go, it really is outstanding, makes your heart ache it's so beautiful.

I’m not going to drop a star because of the bugs as it’s normal for a new game to have bugs when it comes out. However if you want a bug free experience then it’s probably worth waiting a few months for the patch fixes to all come out.Game wise though, this is a perfect mix of Stardew valley, animal crossing and harvest moon. I’ve got over 50 hours on the game and still enjoying it despite completing the story.If you join the official discord you can get up to date updates on the stage of their patch updates as well as being able to submit any bugs you find. The game devs read each and every one and have already released the first patch fix and are working on the next one for some things that didn’t get fixed in the first roundIt’s important to note that the bugs don’t make it unplayable and are pretty simple to work around with solutions such as restarting the game, removing all animal feed and re adding and such.

I have a love/hate relationship with farming sims, some games are too laborious and I don't have hundreds hours to pour into one game, especially when I have so many others t play, so I'll admit I took a gamble with this game. The trailer looked intriguing so I thought I'd check out and I'm really glad I did. It's fun and not too challenging, but keeps you hooked with the amount of things to do. Personally I prefer it over Stardew Valley or ACNH.

I was kind of drawn in by the hype around the game when it came out hence why I ended up buying it. Took me a few hours to get into the game itself, the game itself looks amazing and the character controls are smooth. There is the odd lag when playing the game however really impressed with how this game runs on the Nintendo Switch.I found the game ok you can either spend hours doing side quests or you can just keep move through the storyline itself, there are eight chapters which are all different lengths. I didn’t really get involved with the other NPCs as there dialogue is limited and repetitive and you can’t gift them things like you would in a normal farming sim. The farming element only plays a small part in the game its more to do with working your way through the mines.The game took around 28 hours to completed the storyline.

This is such a cute laid-back game. Very pretty graphics and a good choice if looking for something along the lines of animal crossing.

Cosy game, love it. Has kept me entertained. Easy to play and perfect for any ACNH players that want something similar but different to escape to.

Was given this as a gift and thought it was similar to Animal Crossing. No. Very cute graphics, lots of quirky items and action but it’s way too limited with time. You barely play 20 minutes and it takes time to work somethings out by then you are told go to bed and it’s the next day. Gives virtually no time to enjoy one thing before pushing you to the next so we were not impressed with it at all.
