Easy, cheap, humane and works
Was not fully sure if I had a mouse or not, so went for this trap as it was reasonably priced and humane. Arrived the same day as purchased (via Prime) and very simple to use.Baited with the only thing I could find...Gluten Free crackers (even mice need to be healthy!) and placed in the garage. The long wait (2hrs) takes place then I check and low and behold there he is.....Marvin the mouse, merrily munching on cracker. So Marvin takes a trip to the end of the garden by the shed to retire from being the guardian of my garage and live in the country; however, I thought best to clean, reset and place just in case he had a sidekick.Next morning, cracker all gone....no mouse. Thinking that ninja mouse was at work more cracker added....but again, these went and the trap did not trip. So a bit of reading and had to tape 20p to the cover to weight it.Next day.....there he is.....Hank, greedy sod had eaten all the crackers and was sleeping! So Hank took a trip to join Marvin.Day 3, more cracker and reset once more with the 20p lashed in place (could use a 5p, but these chaps are worth the 20p). I did think that only two mice were guarding the garage...but no, Cliff had now been caught and also went to join Hank & Marvin. So overall, success with this trap - I do recommend weighing the front down, but for the money this had the desired result and now 3 cheery mice are now guarding my shed.

Humanely catches mice for later release.
Being the owner of two young cats who have both decided that I'm obviously incapable of looking after myself and therefore feel the need to provide, I've started getting little squeaking presents brought to me quite regularly. Whilst I'm quite pleased that they don't kill the mice they're catching (I think they're trying to teach me how to hunt live prey), it is pretty annoying when watching TV, and one of the cats walks into the lounge, drops a live mouse in the middle of the floor, then looks expectantly up at me whilst the poor mouse runs off under the settee. Not particularly wanting a house full of vermin, I bought this trap to help catch the mice before the cats get bored and finish the job for me.I'm not the sort of person to read instructions, but this was pretty easy to figure out. Stick your bait at one end, open the door and wedge it with the trigger mechanism. Mouse runs in, trips the catch, door closes and mouse is trapped, safe from the cats and with a little snack to keep him going. The unit itself is very plasticy, and the end where the bait goes was really tight and quite difficult to get off without a lot of force. It feels quite cheaply made and a little overpriced - but it does the job perfectly. I've just used a little peanut butter for bait, and set the trap behind the settee in the evening, and usually by morning it's caught the mouse. I'd say that out of the last 6 or 7 mice that have been brought in I've successfully caught and released 5 (released a few miles away so unlikely to be the same one being caught each time).

Use nuts as bait, works great
TL;DR: it's an effective trap, and I would recommend it.Long version: I bought this trap in hopes of catching a pesky mouse in my kitchen, though I was prepared that it could be a rat, which is why I went for this trap (the extra length would allow it to trap a rat). It arrived quickly, and I baited the trap with peanut butter and a bit of cheese. I had no luck for about a week, not sure if this was due to my bait, or because the mouse was still eating my food and couldn't be bothered going into the trap for a bit of peanut butter. Turns out he was climbing up on my counter top and eating the toasted pecans I had in a ziploc bag up there. When I discovered this about a week after getting the trap, I put all the food in my kitchen into solid, mouse-proof containers and sanitised everything. I replaced the cheese in the trap with some of the toasted pecans this mouse seemed to have a weakness for, and I caught him that very night. I released him in the morning when I found the trap sprung. Generally it's easy to release, you just pull the little lever and pull the door up. Mr Mouse will jump straight out and you'll never see him again (Try to release mice in nice outdoor areas, with trees, shrubs, or long grass to shelter in. 15 minutes walk away from your home is a great distance so they won't find their way back. If you stick him in the back garden, he's just going to sneak inside again.) I've attached pictures of how big the mouse was compared to my trap (inside a carrier bag because I didn't want to just walk outside carrying a mouse trap), as well as pictures of what the mouse trap looks like disassembled. Take note, the bait shelf is difficult to remove and requires a little maneuvering of the slots, don't rush it or you might crack the plastic. I recommend wearing gloves when handling the trap, as mice are prone to carry a lot of diseases.

Easy to bait and set, sturdy and humane.
With construction going on in the house next to me, mice have managed to find a way into my home and leaving pellets all over the place. I didn't want to kill the little guys (or deal with bloody remains) so I thought I would try a humane trap.the trap is pretty sturdy and reinforced at either end, it's easy to bait and set too. It's fairly large compared to conventional traps so make sure you have the space to leave it out.The mice in my home have been coming from under the floorboards to a cupboard under my stairs so that's where I set it. I baited it with a piece of strong smelling cheese and went to bed - the next morning it had already caught one, two nights later I had caught another one in less than 12 hrs!Cleaning the trap is a bit tricky as the mice drop pellets and pee inside it, so its a bit stick to rinse out. I had to use a high pressure setting on my shower head to get everything out, then I cleaned it with a few sprays of an odourless surface cleaner.Great device, would definitely recommend!

Siempre funciona.
