This was for my daughter. 6th grade. It can carry more than enough pencils, pens, markers, make-up, sewing stuff, crochet hooks/stitch markers, or really whatever else you'd want to put in it. It has 2 separate sides that zip open. Each side has the main space for whatever, and also netting pouches for small bits and bobs. It's withstood being dropped, sat on and the dog had it while running through the house the other day. The pencils were just fine. There are lots of colors to choose from and I'd definitely buy another or gift them.

I bought this for back to school. I do not like the plastic ones because they are always falling apart and they cannot hold all the school supplies. I love this bag! It fit all the school supplies, easy to carry, and I do not have to worry about it breaking.
